I have done a search and a lot of the old links are dead and both Yahoo and Google are being extra crap and just giving me info on the aerospace industry.

(Oh yeh get to the point Mint’y)

I am seriously considering buying some aerotech Glow Meteor Pro’s but want more info on them before I dig deep.

So can any of you lovely peeps give me any info on them like durability how well the links to the chain hold out, damage when smashed against hard objects (i.e. head damage to head and poi) battery life and so on.

Plus your opinions on the effect they give would you suggest using anything else. I already own a pair of beamers and am quite happy but just want something more.

And last of all can you give me some links to sights that sell them.

before i met those lot i thought they'd be a bunch of dreadlocked hippies that smoked, set things on fire ,and drank a lot of tea but then when i met them....oh wait (PyroWill)

Hi Mint Sauce,

Great minds think alike....I'm getting some Meteor's for christmas ( bounce clap bounce biggrin)

The site is: www.globall.com. This is the only place to get aerotech's.

If you go to the image gallery, they've got a picture of what they look like.

I've got pro ball's at the moment so can only talk from experience of having them. The battery lasts for maybe 3 hours if on constantly. I've wacked my pro balls so many times and they have never broken, except broken me a few times with bruises and bumps!

I want meteor because in my opinion they look so much prettier than the balls, cos you get a much nicer strobe ubblove getting all excited now at having mine!!! ubbrollsmile

Durbs has meteor's, so you could PM him as he'll know more detail on what they're like, durability etc.

What colours do you want?

What glo equipment do you use at the moment?

Hope this helps a little!

I have to disagree with you Marco, I think aerotechs are quite beautiful.... which is probably why so many people have them.

Dude, yeh they are expensive, but the way i see it - if spinning is something you love - how can you put a price on it smile

Besides most pepps i know who own tech, perform with them - i dont want to to say totally but im pretty sure that techs can secure gigs too and if they can help earn you money, they will pay for themselves over and over.

Did i mention they are SWEEEEET as to play or just look at......

Ok so my opinion may be slighty biased (as i own 2staffs and a set of meteors) but my opinion to date - they are well worth it. biggrin

I love my GloMeteors

They look gorgeous, they've never run out of battery on me, have enough options to spin them fdor ages without getting samey, and are pretty durable.

They've upgraded the shell (slightly) and the battery since I bought mine - but, a bulb blew in one and the other had battery issues, sent them back, full warranty, didn't cost a penney AND they upgraded the shell and battery on both of them.

They may seem over-priced, BUT you do get very good service from them, a very good back-to-base warranty and hours of spinning fun smile

Frodo - it's ok dude, it's not your fault you're un-original wink

I think they'll do pretty much any colour combination you ask for, though be prepared to pay more depending on the colours- white for example is (or at least used to be) more expensive due to the leds used costing more (orr something to that effect-

I have a set of second hand fully serviced glometeors, and yes they are lovely, but personally I find them a little limiting now that I'm into h'loops and throws, what with the chain length being so short (my preference admittedly) and the fact that really you need to use fingerloops due to the weight- If I were in the market for new glo equipment (read 'if I had any money') I'd either hold out for illuminati equipment or go for aerotech proballs in nets which look great...

Let us know what you decide smile

Think of 3 Aerotechs sticks.
With Blue as one colour, and blue as the other colour.
Now think of them all in Edinburgh.

You should be getting close wink
