Accomodation: Tregedna Farm Campsite (the other one for those of you who attended Falmouth 1 or 2)

Duration: Thursday evening - Sunday evening

Attractions: A beautiful beach, (hopefully) glorious weather, a big feckin fire, more beer and smoke than you can shake several large sticks at, and a bunch of lunatics playing with fire.

Throw in a few workshops, the obligatory 8 mile hike, and yer talkin' heaven.

For those who have not attended a Falmouth event before, there are videos of the last two here and here.

This may well be the only Falmouth event this year, as us Cornish types will all be going to the Play Festival in August - and recommend that you do too!

Ok. Spoke to Liz Nicholls last night, daughter of the lady that owns Tregedna Farm. She's going to talk to her mum about camping in the field - she thinks it'll be fine, but she's going to check and ring me back. She did say it might be a few days as they've had a bereavement in the family - hence the difficulty in contacting them. Please please please, nobody ring them, let me handle it. Cheers.

The barn contains 5 rooms: 1 has just a bunk bed, 1 has a double bed and bunkbeds, then there's a dorm that sleeps 6 and another that sleeps 8. There is a communal lounge, kitchen, bathroom and all that. Not sure that there'd be space there for indoor spinning. Not sure of prices yet, but Liz said she'd let me know when she calls back.

For those of use camping, there is full facilities (shower block etc) as you would expect.

Vanize, and anyone else who's worried: Come anyway. This event will take place even if it's just us Falmouth lot. And it'll be mighty good too!

The weather may be crap. It may be great. This is the UK after all, who knows? Still, chances are it'll be better in Cornwall than anywhere else that weekend, so what do you have to lose?

Will post again once I've got the details sorted.

ok, I'm reserved at the backpackers, so I'll quit stressing - hope that doesn't wind up being really inconvenient to where everyone else is!

Gayle>> Dunno, I'll find out. I thought just field and barn. If you want chalets it might be worth ringing Penance Mill and see if you can stay there. It's about half a mile from Tregedna. We stayed there last time, but I had thought the consensus was that we didnt wanna go back there again. Not that they're not nice people or anything.

Vanize>> I guarantee the backpackers place will be in Falmouth, not Maenporth, and will therefore be at least 2 or 3 miles away. Fairly inconvenient I reckons.

Nice? Fear-inducing throat-rending shock would be closer to the mark.

It nearly bloomin' killed me! My vision is only just returning now.

I notice whilst Midian was goading me to drink the damn stuff she wasn't touching it herself... (she was sticking to her zombie story).

Warning to all - don't trust Wild Child when she's proferring alkimohol. Lethal stuff. Can stun a pigeon at 10 paces.

I have the stunned pigeons to prove it.

initial spaces are for people in Andy’s car but there are another 3 or so spaces if you really need somewhere to sleep.

before i met those lot i thought they'd be a bunch of dreadlocked hippies that smoked, set things on fire ,and drank a lot of tea but then when i met them....oh wait (PyroWill)

well done beth for starting the barn list woooooo

also if this gets too out of hand and wayy too many ppl do it have a deciding match of jelly wrestling so i can see this amazing event with my own two eyes, but this could only happen with the last ten or soemthing that signed up depending on how many ppl want a room,

or it could just be first come first serve like it is now lol
