Accomodation: Tregedna Farm Campsite (the other one for those of you who attended Falmouth 1 or 2)

Duration: Thursday evening - Sunday evening

Attractions: A beautiful beach, (hopefully) glorious weather, a big feckin fire, more beer and smoke than you can shake several large sticks at, and a bunch of lunatics playing with fire.

Throw in a few workshops, the obligatory 8 mile hike, and yer talkin' heaven.

For those who have not attended a Falmouth event before, there are videos of the last two here and here.

This may well be the only Falmouth event this year, as us Cornish types will all be going to the Play Festival in August - and recommend that you do too!

i suppose a lederhosen would be one leg of a pair or LEATHER TROUSERS.

So i expect all the blokes will need a PAIR of Ledenhosen.... which implies two....but why anyone would want to wear two Lederhosen mystifies me....

i think there is a serious issue which people keep skimming over... and telling people to chill

its serious... people only get a certain amount of holiday a year. and if they book it off for falmouth, and it dosent happen then thats a few days that they have wasted..

Its a serious concern, people are booking flights etc... We shouldnt just chill it needs to be sorted.. Because if everyone gets there and there is no where to stay.. because none of the campsites are open, then there is no option than to find hotels, or drive back....

People need to know that its sorted... Otherwise people arent going to come, there going to loose intrest, because im certainly not going to book time off, nor drive 6 hours to falmouth just to be told its not happening!!

Please... dont just chill. and a " I told u so" isnt enough!!

I really feel that sleeping on the beach is a bad idea

No i dont see the idea of sleeping on the beach fun, reasons why are explained below:

Do u understand that if say 2 people sleep on the beach for an evening, they put there tent up late, so not to be seen.. and leave early in the morning... because it against the law. I WOULDNT MIND SLEEPING ON THE BEACH IF I WAS WALKING AROUND, TRAVELING OR WITH A MATE, BEACUSE U CAN GET AWAY WITH IT... BUT NOT 40 OF US...

From my recolection... the beaches are quite populated... so fourty or so people setting sleeping on the beach. some for four days... will kind of bring attention to us..

Thus giving the police the right to shift us off, and then were are f@cked! we cant go no were, so less of the chilled out it will be cool attitude dude, theres other people to concider, kids are comming too.. ill try and call the farm today..

Short of that, my friend lives that way, so im going to get her to go and try and speak to them this week...

I agree with Frodo.

We seriously do need to get somewhere to stay sorted.

Frodo is absolutely right with the tents on the beach. Plus last time i was there, there was quite a lot of people on the beach really early in the morning (don't ask me what they were doing!) (6am early).

It's also not that big of a beach. I really doubt it could handle 40 tents or so!

If it really is a last resort, to camp on the beach, then you should phone the owners, and ask permission.

ok so what is going on with these numbers? lol is just one person in charge of calling or are we just going to bombard the campsite with many different calls? cause the last thing i want to do is P off a campsite owner by giving them yet anouther call when they have recied lots already.
