Posted: Hi eveybody im very very new to poi and to this website , i just bought my first pois yesterday at the Trowbridge pump festival and the bloke who sold me them told me about this site ! I was really interested when i saw loads of people doing it and it looked really good and now im really into fire twirling as well ! anybody got any good tips for a complete beguinner ?

Posted: I'd definitely introduce yourself to some spinners you see around your neighborhood and see if you can practice with them, the group setting makes it much more fun and fire dancers are hands down the coolest bunch i've ever known... they will welcome new brothers and sisters with open arms, I guarantee
Posted: Well first off Brody is right, after my first burn I was introduced to a young woman, when she heard that I had just accomplished my first burn she ran up and gave me a hug. So the open arms thing is too true hehe.
