well i finally got around to looking at the little footage i had of my spins...and lo and behold, i found 2 very grainy clips of me pulling off a behind the back thread the needle. I'll post another vid of better quality, lighting, etc when i have it, but for now i hope this'll do.

enjoy

P.S. If you do want to try to do this, stretch first. After endless repetitions and trials, it can really tweak your back something terrible biggrin

do you find behind the head ttn more tricky? ever tried it.

i think i did a few of these in col3 way back then and they were pretty dialed if i recall, not too sketchy.

your probably one of few people i have seen play with this move. nice to see some thing like this crop up again.

thanks and have fun.... smile

i had so much fun with these moves 3 years ago, i still like to do them now.

For something harder (or at least I find it harder) try instead of alternating hands every beat, doing 2 beats then swapping repeat. Hmm, it's not really ttn now however.

Geez, I'd give my right arm to be ambidextrous.

i find gripping the poi between the finger tips helps a lot here!, you can direct the poi where you want and will save constant batterings!

hey mind now try variations between your legs too.

Hmm thread the needle between the legs. Cool idea. Are both hands under leg or is one under, one free?
Will give it a try.
What about a butterfly weave between the legs? eek
Maybe what i'm thinking is different: butterfly on left side (side plane) involving the right hand under the left leg, left hand is free, then switch that over to the right side, left hand under the right leg, and right hand is free. Complicated but certainly possible. Maybe you've already done it before.

Geez, I'd give my right arm to be ambidextrous.

It seems the next step I would recommend is the four beat ttn variants of both the btb and bth. Or maybe the regular 4bt ttn for those that don't have that yet.

What else can I say? TamingFire.Com

my point to my previous posts is to get you thinking about variations.

Take one concept... TTN here for example.

My idea is to get you to think of variations around your body where you can do that move!

Now think of those moves and do them in the opposite direction.

Now take both sets of moves and split time them!

Now take all the above and do them split time in the opposite directions.

Tell me how many variations of that one TNN there are now?

Practice them as you try to think of them.

I get 58 of them! in my old list just from TTN.

Thats a lot of learning and in my oppinion will change you transitions, fluidity... and so much more.

have fun!/.
