its much harder than it looks blue, but you better try so you can make up for not being at last years.

the glasow is really nice, pretty small but well attended and the science centre is superb. the renagade was one of the fiendliest and smallest i ever been to too.

be warned tho it gets very cold at nights, sleeping mat and good sleeping bag esential. nice fire space outside too.

easy - they're both in scotland so you use location to decide really...

but the bjc runs for longer, is bigger, has more workshops, has more people attending and has a bigger show.

see you there? smile

I think I'm slowly learning that the term "Renegade" means "Act I'm not actually going to do"...

eek

I'm definitely doing a 'beginning poi' workshop at EJC next year (cuz 'why the hell not?!') and... if I can get 5 other people to be as stupid as me, I'm leading a renegade act.

Sorry I won't be able to make any of the other -JCs...

exactly - he has a beautiful lady standing next to him so even if he thinks we're being rude, he can still smile away to himself.

i'm sure he'd tell us it if he thought we were being rude though - as i'm sure would dom if he got fed up with all the "you're really tall" comments and yourself with all the "why is nyc's dick so big" comments.

i thought meg was saying he is tall and gives a sense of foreboding to those he towers above and i was referring to the time that i saw him drunk as a skunk with std's scrawled across his back ubblol

besides, don't tell me you never take the piss out of anyone - polite and complimentary new yorkers are a myth as far as i can tell...

No no... I was actually shrugging because I do think it's a cultural thing. Maybe it's just MY own uberliberal culture... but in MY world, I'd never say anything about someone's weight.

Which is weird, as Cole said, because I do play and tease a bunch (though in a different way...). I tend to be more sarcastic. And in areas that are further from the truth. I don't tease weight or other possibly uncomfortable physical differences in people... but I've got no problem calling someone a crack whore who obviously isn't. Like Coleman's crackwhore mother. Unless she was actually a crackwhore. Cuz that would be mean.

[Again, I'm just doing more of a "Hrmmm" moment... not actually saying or advocating anything.]

And New Yorkers are very polite as a whole. They're just busy and never fake which tourists who've never been here sometimes construe as impolite. You been watchin too much TV. biggrin

like what i did up there with the "why is nyc's dick so big line"? wink

the overriding factor here is that i don't consider rob to be 'overweight' at all and as far as i know, he doesn't either which means any teasing about that would be on the same tack as your "ya mama's a crackho and uses dead babies for pipes" type jibes.

like i said, i thought the topic of pisstaking was what i said in me last post - rob's tallness and the disturbing events at the caberet party shrug

but if you're right; if any of this could be miscontrued as being deliberately offensive or if it was unintentionally hurtful then i apologise without exception.

and yes, i do watch way too many movies rolleyes

so, back on topic, how long is a new york minute exactly?

i propose it be set at a period of time less than a 'jiffy' and a little more than a 'tick'...
