My brother and I have the same initials - AMJT.

But everyone either calls me James or Cantus these days so it's easier to sort out who's mail is who's.

Jade is about to have a resurgence as a baby name in this country. And for the most horrible reason imaginable. People will actually name their daughters after that uberpig from Big Brother.....

Cage, as Mistress Thistle so wisely pointed out, I wasn't dissing the welsh. Just trying to stop Organised Kaos from continuing down the line of humour he was using. It was borderline racism (even though he didn't know and didn't intend it). I may have come across a bit strongly. But I thought it needed saying.

If I was welsh myself I would have no problem with being called Welsh. But I'm English by birth so I corrected him. The english are a mixture of Celts, Angles, Saxons, Vikings, Normans, Romans, Britons, Picts and a dozen more tribes besides. I'm proud of that heritage.

Bit ranty but I'm tired.

Meh

I personnaly like.

Anjuli - my sisters name, I think it's indian, I'd have to ask my mother.

Drew - which is my name and doesn't include AN at the beggining.

Sirin - (Si-rin) not like Siren, technically it should have a C at the beginning but since I made it up I spell and pronounce it my way. This will be my daughters name (if/when I have a daughter).

*Oh, just for a minute,* my bed said.
"Don't lie to me," I grumbled.
*But you're so tired...*

Rhianna Lyn - if I have kids, & have a girl, this will be her name.

Calum or Declan for a boy.

Rosalyn - My name. Means variously, "rose in running water", or "big red horse"

It was a day for screaming at inanimate objects.

What this calls for is a special mix of psychology and extreme violence...

I like the way people (me included) have already decided the names for their as yet unconceived offspring - because the opinions of the other half don't really matter do they?

But there's no sense crying over every mistake. You just keep on trying till you run out of cake.

My name is pretty cool, since my parents kinda made it up. Merryn. What do you think.

If I had a girl her name would be Tao or Astra. Bot, not sure yet. Has to be funky and original. Any ideas??

If everyone smiled, it would be the first step to a better future*

Rosalind is a pretty name. As is Miranda and May is too. So any one named Rosalind Miranda May must be the prettiest girl in the world.

sorry mike but i forgot about this thread. my name arashi means lightning in japanese. sort of in a poetic way that also means storm, with lots of rain and thunder along with it. i have a great affinity for lightning as i grew up in the lightning capitol of our hemisphere. that and the buddhist connotations of instant illumination and transmissions from the higher plane.

-Such a price the gods exact for song: to become what we sing
-Seek freedom and become captive of your desires. Seek discipline and find your liberty.
-When the center of the storm does not move, you are in its path.
