We all know once you start twirling, it's hard to stop :P
I grabed a pair of my friend's mittens the other day and broke into 3 beat weave (tried for 5 but they were to short and had no weight) then into a butterfly.
I realized I do this a fair bit when ever I get items in my hands. I've done it with articles of clothing, shopping bags full of food and all sorts of strange items :P
I wanted to know how many other people twirl what ever they can get their hands on.
I know in the Martial Arts world, everything becomes staff or a sword wink
I think in the twirling world, everything becoms twirlable.

Bah, I read things with titles that interest/concern me. Something with the title Emergancy poi isn't very informative, so I never bothered reading into it.
Although I'm sorry for making up another thread. If a mod would be so kind as to close this thread...

Rusted bicycle chains (that's actually what I started spinning with...ouch.)
Wrist-watches
My own shirt sleeves
Sticks and stones.

I have a feeling that my post is boring. Maybe I'm a boring person...

I couldn't love you more.

Heh good to know I'm not the only one who's tried spinning large objects.

I've tried (and failed);
chairs (almost managed a 3beat)
friends (worked better than chairs, but still failed)
hammers (not sledge, just a regular hammer, but it was like spinning incredibly over weight clubs)
and a few other things that may come to me later...
