What's a Jelly Baby?

My general experience is that pink things taste better than green things, though.

How can you not know what a jelly baby is???
Where do you come from?
And you chose the correct answer...pink ones are the best. Some strange and twisted people prefer the green ones though!

Well, in that case,
Jelly babies are a delicious gummy treat (excluding the green ones) which, when you bite into is hardish on the outside and chewy gummy on the inside. Often are coated in flour and taste yummy sugary good! They come in a variety of colours including pink, red, green, orange, yellow and purple. And of course they are all in the shape of cute little babies. The pink one wears a bonnet and looks tastily good!
What do you think?

Both Nutella and Marmite took a few tries to find the apreciation, but my Marmite experiences bring back better memories.... A bit of butter and some Marmite sound kinda yummy right now, so I'd choose that... I might regret it later, especially if Ray kills me My husband wouldn't be too happy with my choice either! Please don't tell him! *- must find where marmite and vegimite are sold around here and satisfy my cravings!

I think this needs to put into a better context. There is nothing nasty or evil or warmongering about this post.

As the two most delectable delacacies in the entire world, some extremist with puritanical views, such as subs_lil_sis, may wish to eradicate all temptation and joy in the world.

Logic being that consuming Nutella/Marmite/Nutella and Marmite could be viewed as a sin, so in the interests of people's souls, they should not have tempation thrust upon their helpless little lives.

Can;t say as i agree, but I can see where her viewpoint comes from...

ok coming from the land of oz where apparently vegimite comes from and marmite was made directly for competion against vegimite id have to say that id chosse nutella over marmite anyday....the memorys are still fairly fresh in my mind of my primary scool days where almost every kid had vegimite, marmite or even promite sandwhiches for lunch all on white bread with heaps of butter...and my mothers attept at bieng a nornal mum i copped vegimite sandwiches for about 5 or 6 years running...so as marmite is almost the same ill have to say nutellea...ive got enough yeast and vegtible extract in my system to last my a life time........

why capitalize the "G", and censor the "o"?

Good question, Rex. I'm Jewish by birth and while I am not religious, I do follow a number of traditions. One is that you never write out the name of God because it might be misconstrued as idolatry or something (yes, I know I just did it...I'm not religious, remember?). So the Jewish tradition is to do "G-d." Some people write "G'd," instead.

Really, more habit than anything else.
