This is really just to guage a reaction.

We (the Falmouth Fire Fellowship wink) were talking the other day about having a big fire party a couple of weeks before Christmas. Brad has an excess of wood in his shop that needs burning, and that's an excuse to have a party. smile

We're thinking probably the weekend of Friday 9th Dec - Sunday 11th Dec. What do people think? Anyone fancy a trek to Cornwall to spin in the cold? We can guarantee lots of paraffin, lots of fresh herbs, and lots of tasty ale. biggrin

Right. In that case, I'll be on to the church hall first thing tomorrow to see what they say. I rather like the idea to be honest, and it's good insurance against coldness.

As far as B&B's go, I don't know of any that are especially bad, in fact I know very little about them at all. Melvill Road is the road next to mine though, so you'll be nearby to all the cool stuff. biggrin

As for next Easter, Falmouth III will be occurring then, so if you really can't make this one, don't be too disheartened. The poifing competition (along with the now obligatory naked spin) will take place then. I doubt we'll even go to the beach this time.

I'll be in touch.

So who's coming then?

Can we sort out a big coloury list as with the last fal thread? smile

I'll be there, but i'll prolly have to drive home each night (long way) as i wont be able to afford to stay in a b&b, unless some nice Falmouth person (looks in mag's direction) could put me up for a night or two.

It is the weekend of the 11th.

OK. Let's get a list sorted, then I'll worry about how many I can fit into a very small space.

No news about church hall as yet, I will attempt to make contact tomorrow. Do we want it for the friday and the saturday, or just the Saturday?

I think the chuch hall would be good for both Friday and Saturday, if they need it early Sunday we can clear up and clear out early, it's not much hassle compared to sleeping under a hedge ubbangel

Let's relight this forum ubblove

Yeah! The lady at the youth hostel finally answered.
Skully, Non, SDLW - the room is £14pp including toast and cereal.
StoneT, SRDH - The room is £14pp if you don't mind sharing or £17 pp for a room on your own.

Let me know if you want me to book. Plus if anyone else needs a room can you let me know and we can book that also if you want. I've only asked for the 6 beds so if more people are coming can you let me know so i can give exact numbers.

Vixen, Pink - Are you still coming? Do you both need a room or are you giving it a miss or holding out for a free room.

HOSTEL NEWS bounce bounce2 bounce bounce2

It's booked for me, SDLW, Skully, Non, StoneT and SDRH. It's £14pppn. The girls have a four bedded room and the boys have a six bedded room for the rate. smile
Non - Charlotte the hostel woman has loads of space free and so if your brother decides to come i'll just ring her up and let her know to expect one more.
I've given her my card details and you pay when you leave (so you don't owe me anything) - if you decide (or even if fate decides) you can't come - can you give me a shout to cancel your bed else i'm charged for it and i won't be a very happy bunny frown
