This is really just to guage a reaction.

We (the Falmouth Fire Fellowship wink) were talking the other day about having a big fire party a couple of weeks before Christmas. Brad has an excess of wood in his shop that needs burning, and that's an excuse to have a party. smile

We're thinking probably the weekend of Friday 9th Dec - Sunday 11th Dec. What do people think? Anyone fancy a trek to Cornwall to spin in the cold? We can guarantee lots of paraffin, lots of fresh herbs, and lots of tasty ale. biggrin

Right.

Am in talks with the church hall at the moment, but hopefully we can use it during the day on Saturday.

Saturday night, I reckons we should go play in a field and have a big fire. Just a thought.

Oli>> Floor & sofa space available at my house mate. smile

What happened to the list of people coming?

Ok. We can have the church hall from 3.30pm til 7/8pm on Saturday. It'll cost £30, and it doesnt solve where we go during the day (although it won't be too cold to go on the beach) and it still doesn't solve where we go for big burning on Saturday night.

But, as ever, I'm working on it. Shall I go ahead and book the hall, just so's there's somewhere we can all go to spin indoors for a bit and drink tea?

Ok. The hall will be booked.

As far as where to go in the evenings, we can either: Go to the beaches in town (where we may not be able to have a big fire), go to the beaches out of town (Maenporth anyone?) or (and this is our big idea) we can go to this wierd little place right on Pendennis Point, behind the castle. Slight possibility of cops showing up, but there's that most places.

I wanted to find a green field that we could have a fire in, but I don't know where to start looking.

And my numbers are: 07929 611696 + 01326 210221

Rock on.

nate, if we go to the beach to spin, you won't have to worry. Just walk downhill and you'll hit sand sometime.

What's the weird little place Mags? And how near the castle?

Oli>> That's cool man. Best thing is to get here and either come straight to my house or give me a ring on the above numbers and I can tell you where we'll be. Beach in daytime sounds good, but it depends what we get up to Friday night as to how hungover we all are.

I wonder if this'll work...

Everyone, when you arrive in Foulmouth, head for my house for a cuppa (although parking on my road is a nightmare wink) and then we'll go somewhere from there.

cool! I'll give you a ring tomorrow to check everyone hasn't already buggered off somewhere, then I'll man-handle my car into a parking space (and quite possibly annoy one of your neighbours, like last time! biggrin )

I should be down around 7 - 7.30ish!
