This is really just to guage a reaction.

We (the Falmouth Fire Fellowship wink) were talking the other day about having a big fire party a couple of weeks before Christmas. Brad has an excess of wood in his shop that needs burning, and that's an excuse to have a party. smile

We're thinking probably the weekend of Friday 9th Dec - Sunday 11th Dec. What do people think? Anyone fancy a trek to Cornwall to spin in the cold? We can guarantee lots of paraffin, lots of fresh herbs, and lots of tasty ale. biggrin

Falmouth 3 will be in Easter sometime.

Fluff, was that you adding your name to the list? smile

I would think Hava will be there, but I haven't seen her in a few weeks, so haven't really told her yet. I'd be shocked if she wasn't. She never usually misses an excuse for a party. She's getting very good at contact.

Should find out about hall in the next 24hrs, but I'm glad you guys have the hostel sorted. Even if we can use the hall, I'm not sure about staying there.

Sorry folks but it's all down to money I'm afraid. We've sat down and worked out our cash for December and it just isn't feasable to even spend the petrol money never mind the booze etc that comes along with the weekend as a whole. I was really looking forward to it all too frown

I hope you have lots of fun, I sooo wish I could be there, instead it looks like I will be at my pants "Vegas Themed" works xmas do, but only because it is free.

See you in the Spring tho for sure hug

Is fathmouth a big place for juggling events? i'm a very keen juggler of devil stick etc and i'm probably gonna end up down in FCA studing English with Media i thought this might be a good thread to work out the popularity of juggling judging from the 227 posts it probably is.

Does this site actually exist? Or am i talking to all my other personalities?

Russell>> Yes, ever since last year, the FCA Circus Society has gone from strength to strength. We now have nearly 60 fully paid up members! (When I say "fully paid up", I mean they all paid a 5r wink) The Society has recently invested in a load of practice poi, juggling balls, practice staves, contact balls, diabolos and a unicycle, and we meet up every week to practice and teach each other. As a result, pretty much every f*cker in Falmouth does something vaguely circus-y. And I personally highly recommend FCA as a place to study, tis lovely. biggrin

Bug>> Really sorry to hear it mate, if there's anything I can do to change your mind...

Everyone else>> Still working on a venue, but don't be alarmed, there are lots of places we can go to muck about. There's the possibility of a party on the Saturday, as some friends of mine (including Hava) have recently started squatting in an abandoned pub. I'm glad that a lot of you are staying in the hostel, tis only round the corner from meeeeeee. (And I have a kettle smile)

Prpht>> Hey Ninja Dave, will be wicked to see you man. Falmouth 2 wasn't the same without you. weavesmiley

HOSTEL NEWS bounce bounce2 bounce bounce2

It's booked for me, SDLW, Skully, Non, StoneT and SDRH. It's £14pppn. The girls have a four bedded room and the boys have a six bedded room for the rate. smile
Non - Charlotte the hostel woman has loads of space free and so if your brother decides to come i'll just ring her up and let her know to expect one more.
I've given her my card details and you pay when you leave (so you don't owe me anything) - if you decide (or even if fate decides) you can't come - can you give me a shout to cancel your bed else i'm charged for it and i won't be a very happy bunny frown

ROLL ON 10th DECEMBER!!! weavesmiley weavesmiley weavesmiley weavesmiley
