I'm running a quiz night at work on 3rd Nov, and I need help from all you HoPers out there...

I need to think of a marathon round - i.e a round of questions that can run for the whole quiz. In the past we've had a list of celeb's real names and they've had to work out the celeb name (e.g Reginald Kenneth Dwight is Elton John's real name (interesting fact for the day huh!), we've also asked them to name all the states in America.

Our quiz master at work has left with all the good ideas (b*stard! wink )and I'm stuck on what to do. It needs to be sort of general knowledge but not too easy.

Any ideas???

UCOF - I'll trade you some growing tips for some random ideas!! wink

A kiss blown is a kiss wasted, the only kind of kiss is a kiss tasted.

[url=https://www.cpsc.co.uk/quiz/links.htm[this link to a quiz links page[/url] should help.

they have a few marathon rounds on that very website too:
tv anagrams
old english and welsh counties - in the right places too!

and then there's this website which has some good ideas for marathon rounds that involve a bit of thinking from the teams (and very little work from you on some of them cos they're just wordplay type things that you simply count up the possible scores when they finish).

good luck honey hug

That website is brilliant! I'll probably use the Monopoly one, or the london underground one.

Right - just got to sort out the music round and I'm all done!

Thanking you!!

The muppets one is good too.

As are the film invisibles.

Some of them are British though, so be careful. Like the 'football' list is actually all soccer teams. wink

Well, shall we go?
Yes, let's go.
[They do not move.]

arsnHow do you change this thing???
