Oh god.
I just heard on Radio 1 that John Peel has died from a massive heart attack while on holiday with his wife in Peru.
For those who don't know, John Peel was Radio 1's most long-serving DJ - there are few people alive who know more about music than him.
He always championed new music and launched the careers of some of Britain's greatest bands.
He'll be missed
