'ello all,
I have a favor to ask of anyone who is a good artist. I am looking to get a new tattoo about fire poi...Only problem is I cannot draw at all. I saw all of the submissions for the T-shirt and it inspired me to ask the community at large. If you could help me out I would really appreciate it. ohh definatly, I need a new tat, my back and left calf are feeling empty and left out. Anyone got anything that they wouldnt mind me putting on my skin?

Email Cantus. He is an artist and, I believe, has designed some tattos for HOP members before (and has sent out some pretty, pretty pictures as well). There was a thread on this a while ago, but I don't have time right now to search for it, but yes, talk to Cantus.

If there's somthing you like frome the t-shirt comp why not ask the artist if he/she minds u ussing that?

haven't had your herb tea today Pyrophile I suppose

I am definitely not judging and am in the process of re-doing my tatoo at the moment myself so I really understand this need to find someone talented to help you express what story you want to write on your skin

*HOWEVER* ... I must say i'd much prefer doing what i am currently doing which is discussing things withe the artist (and preferably someone like Cantus or my tatoo parlor goddess who not only knows what art is about but also how it comes out as a tatoo). Just to get something mroe personal ? what do you think ?

N E Way I agree w/ you about talkin to the artist, I just wanted some Ideas that I could use for inspiration.. also my artist... has never heard of poi before talking to me so I thought I'd ask those who knew it the best... those that participate in its magic.

I hear C@ntus has been away all weekend with his young lady and hasn't been back very long.

Just a rumour though.

I'm on it Phule. Working with an infinite flame motif along the lines of the one you suggested. early days yet. Looks way cool in my head though.
