Summer Location: Queen Victoria gardens.

The aim is not for a solely firetwirling night, but a night whereby firetwirlers, jugglers, contact jugglers, diabolo etc can meet. So feel free to bring friends who may be interested.

Night starts at 6pm for all those who are keen to learn. Fire starts after dark 7.00 - 8ish till late!

So.... the location is Queen Victoria Gardens

St. Kilda Road – opposite 'National Gallery of VIC' (Old Arts Gallery with spire)

The grassed area near the three raised palm trees. (Look out for the bronze statue hammer thrower)

With only a 5 minute walk over the princess bridge from Flinders Street station.

Here's the map

https://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&hl=e...360&ie=UTF8

*WINTER LOCATION*

Under the Princess bridge (Southbank side). Where the Southbank Sundey market happens.

Still under the bridge until Daylight savings starts...which happens to be very soon (October 5th).

Most Melbournites will be at Common Ground that weekend, but I imagine if the weather is good most will migrate to the park smile

I will not be because of work - taking the week off for hiking has forced me to ask for a shift when I usually refuse to work, due to my desperate financial situation. I wish I was back at Wilsons Prom, everything was much simpler then.

See you guys next week though! Missing you!

More's the point, is anyone actually going to start going on a Sunday in Alexandria Gardens or wherever, because I went a couple of weeks ago and I checked in the park and under the bridge and there was no-one around. So I had to go home. Slightly annoying.

Synapse, I will be there next week - I'll make a special effort to get all uni homework done before then.

Ry, no-one has laughs at n00bs on Sunday meets - we save that for Saturday.

I'm all enthusiastic and inspired after common ground and MJC, and pairing that with the fact that we'll be heading back to the park, I'm keen to make more of an effort to come regularly again.

Ry- There's a great variety in skill levels of the people that tend to come to Sunday's, and I've never once seen a person being made fun of for not being an advanced twirler. New people are always welcome.

Also I think that Cel's in Melbourne at the moment, and she's probably quite keen to catch up with all the sunday twirling people, so anyone who's missed her unique combination of quirky humor and ultra violence should get their arses down to the park smile
