Summer Location: Queen Victoria gardens.

The aim is not for a solely firetwirling night, but a night whereby firetwirlers, jugglers, contact jugglers, diabolo etc can meet. So feel free to bring friends who may be interested.

Night starts at 6pm for all those who are keen to learn. Fire starts after dark 7.00 - 8ish till late!

So.... the location is Queen Victoria Gardens

St. Kilda Road – opposite 'National Gallery of VIC' (Old Arts Gallery with spire)

The grassed area near the three raised palm trees. (Look out for the bronze statue hammer thrower)

With only a 5 minute walk over the princess bridge from Flinders Street station.

Here's the map

https://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&hl=e...360&ie=UTF8

*WINTER LOCATION*

Under the Princess bridge (Southbank side). Where the Southbank Sundey market happens.

Man, this thread has really slowed down hey, and I get the feeling that the meets have slowed too. How come? The community feeling of hanging with some warm and welcoming people to chill, maybe learn a move or two, has pretty much dissipated, at least it feels that way to me, it's just not the same, what's changed?

I'm all for trying to get that feeling up and running again. Maybe we need a change of scene? anyone know any good covered spaces we can use in inner city melbourne?

failing that, maybe we can organise some sort of comp with a cool prize.

or altenatively we can just stuff all the fancy crap, get our asses into gear and get together and teach eachother some cool stuff!!!

Damn, that sucks rogue, come back soon.

Yeah. A new location might be good, but ultimately, I think we just need to start gettin' it together. I'm gunna start trying to come consistently (giggle), and I'm gunna bring some music and snacks to try 'n bring back that nice friendly atmosphere.

hmm.. have we moved to the bridge (winter location) yet? this could be a smart move as it may help with those who are afraid of the cold thats slowly encroaching.

ive been full on with uni this semester.. damn engineering.. im still keen to come in, but until i catch up a bit that seems unlikely.

see you all sooner or later.

Yeah, I miss the old days when Sunday nights were always lots of fun. I've mainly just been slack, sometimes i'm working on a sun night, but mainly just the slackness. The handful of times I have been lately I haven't known anyone, which is a really strange feeling.

It looks like Bill and I will be heading there tonight. Hope to see you guys there.
