Summer Location: Queen Victoria gardens.

The aim is not for a solely firetwirling night, but a night whereby firetwirlers, jugglers, contact jugglers, diabolo etc can meet. So feel free to bring friends who may be interested.

Night starts at 6pm for all those who are keen to learn. Fire starts after dark 7.00 - 8ish till late!

So.... the location is Queen Victoria Gardens

St. Kilda Road – opposite 'National Gallery of VIC' (Old Arts Gallery with spire)

The grassed area near the three raised palm trees. (Look out for the bronze statue hammer thrower)

With only a 5 minute walk over the princess bridge from Flinders Street station.

Here's the map

https://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&hl=e...360&ie=UTF8

*WINTER LOCATION*

Under the Princess bridge (Southbank side). Where the Southbank Sundey market happens.

woooo, last night was much fun, we had a total of 29 (yes, 29, i counted) people at one point, and for the absolutely freezing night that it was, me thinks that turnout was pretty good.

hug hug and kiss to everyone.

cheers, pete biggrin

Meteor? Was there someone else doing meteor?

On another note, I managed to get some time off work therefore I can attend that common ground thing in Adelaide.
Got a question for the guys making the trip. When is everyone going and coming back? I plan on going over Friday morning sometime and coming back Tuesday? But that depends on when the others are going back.
Where is everyone staying? I don't have camping gear so I was thinking hotel/motel/hostel whatever, but I would prefer to stay with others to ensure i'm not an outcast :-) Anyone want to share a hotel/motel/hostel?
Also I'll be flying so can someone take my fire gear? I don't do staff, so it wont take much room!
See you again this Sunday.

Geez, I'd give my right arm to be ambidextrous.

I would be happy to book a motel and get others to pay me when they get there. Give me numbers.
Once again I need to know how long those who want in are staying for.

hmm i think this is wayy off topic, but it's so very hard to read 21 pages of a hop meetup thread! (i realise the irony that this thread too is about 20 pages, but it took 10 months to get this far!)

Surely there will be plenty of people who are more then happy to shove over a bit and share tent space, there will be a few people bring spare tents too

I'm not really sure how I'm getting there now. I'm thinking train so I could take your stuff for you.

I would prefer a hostel/motel/hotel too but I think it's more fun staying in a tent smile

Myco I'll take you up on that offer. I'm leaving Friday as well so that works out well.
What's happ'nen about fuel? Are we taking a mega tub of Shell sol/shellite (or whatever it's called) over? I'd be happy to pay someone when i'm there.
There are cheap flights (or as cheap as they get) on the Tuesday for anyone flying (69 dollars.)
