WTF?

"I know a good deal more than a boiled carrot."
"Fire!" "Where?" "Nowhere, I was just illustrating the misuse of free speech."

You can't avoid pain by fencing yourself from it.
Some times you need the help of others more than anything else
But you have to let them close enough to help......
People want to be needed, I found that out too

Clean for 6 months and counting... ah yeah, that's nice.

So that's from a series of experiments that were done to study mother-infant bonding in primates. That "robot" is simply a plush-covered wire frame with a nipple in it that will give the baby monkey milk. They found that the plush cover was a major determinant to whether the baby would bond with the "surrogate mother."

In the background, you can see the alternative, which is a non-primate looking wire frame that also has a milk nipple. And you can see that the monkey has chosen the model that more closely resembles an adult monkey.

This demonstrates that the baby monkey has an inborn tendency to choose a parent based on more than its simple ability to provide milk.

We now return you to your standard silliness.
