Well, seeing as we are starting to take over the

"Offical HOP "I just learnt a new move" thread", I thought we should contain this bit just to jugglerisng and the throwing and dropping of balls, clubs, rings and other miscellaneous juggling props.

Today I mothered learning 441.

I had a few throws of 531 but only 1 catch. I think my 5 is too high.

Note for the mods: I DEMAND on behalf of the jugglers on this site, as has been done with the aforementioned "Poi moves thread", that this one is made a sticky thread.

Otherwise its just favouritism really....

LOTS and LOTS and LOTS of practice with 4 balls. Get yourself a siteswap simluator (JugglingLab is a good online one) and try all of these:
552
5551 (starting with either hand)
534 (not so important but cool and it'll help)
55550 (I actually think this is harder than 5 but nobody has ever agreed with me)

Then start by flashing them all and catching cleanly, when you feel comfortable go for 7 throws, then 9 etc.

Its hard and you won't get it overnight but keep trying!

5 Ball qualify biggrin 10 catches, best run is only about 15 catches though.

3 in right hand 18 catches
3 in left hand 14 catches

(had a go at six but only manged 6 catches all together. think I may get 6 quicker than 5)

A couple of balls short of a full cascade... or maybe a few cards short of a deck... we'll see how this all fans out.

wooo, I got 531 with all flats. Both sides, but not continuous, and sometimes back into flats.

I've occasionally done flats into half helicopter spins into head flats and back again, but it's pretty darn hard.

Time to start on half spin 3 up 180's!

Clean 3up 360 with clubs - not the first time I've got it but the only time I'd have been happy with it on video. Not that the camera was turned on at the time...

a44444 with balls. Actually works more consistently than 8444 for some reason!

My 4 clubs is now pretty solid smile And I learnt the thing where you throw one as a triple you can go into the columns. Man I am so not articulate today!

I also learnt something that I don't know what it's called. Will taught me where you throw one as a double, whilst doing a single in the other hand at the same time?

But not been able to practise that much because of my stupid wrists. mad

I don't think doing boston mess then doing box counts as a variation on the move. smirk

Edit: Today I:

Flashed 8 balls

Qualified 5 ball full shower

And bagged a clean 5 ball 3 up 360 (which nearly killed me).
