Well, seeing as we are starting to take over the

"Offical HOP "I just learnt a new move" thread", I thought we should contain this bit just to jugglerisng and the throwing and dropping of balls, clubs, rings and other miscellaneous juggling props.

Today I mothered learning 441.

I had a few throws of 531 but only 1 catch. I think my 5 is too high.

Note for the mods: I DEMAND on behalf of the jugglers on this site, as has been done with the aforementioned "Poi moves thread", that this one is made a sticky thread.

Otherwise its just favouritism really....

Yesterday I obtained a new PB for 5 clubs - 14 catches. 2 more catches than my previous PB.

... and today I beat yesterdays best by 2 catches. smile

I can also do double-single from my right hand pretty well, after trying it for the first time yesterday. Still struggling with my other than, BUT through no fault of my non-dominant hand. My better hand is actually throwing really high singles that I cannot lower for the life in me. frown

Had a really nice afternoons juggle last night it was one of those time were you really feel like your makeing progress.

3 up piroette without look up on the turn for the first time then got it another 2 times after that

4b mills from both 7531 and 3b split is getting resonably solid (except when am showing oli)

3 and 4b split into 5 casade is getting better

nice long runs of 633, 744, (6x,4) and 753 and 66661 out of and back into 5 casade.

And to top it of I got 9 throw and catches (with a clean finish) of 5b mills with all the balls going to the right place smile smile smile

Maybe I should change this too something abit nicer, humm no I still think your all Ccensoredt

Wow! bounce2 I tried and caught a 5 ball multiplex in 7balls today. Never tried it before but it feels perfect and fits well into the 7ball pattern. Just need to get it solid now rolleyes It's a five ball start where you throw a triplex from the right and a 2b multiplex from the left smile smile smile

Also learnt a good way of practicing for 9 clubs this week - out of 7 clubs in singles one person can throw seven consecutive triples and the other person keeps on passing normally (in singles). The person who throws the triples has a gap after the 7th triple. Ahhhhh 9 clubs passing is fun (but it hurts) wink

don't worry about siteswap for now its just a way of describing tricks using numbers.

i'd say you don't need to worry about it for a goods while yet:
keep practicing, learn to juggle 3 balls, learn lots of tricks, learn to juggle 4 balls, think about finding out what siteswap is ubbrollsmile

I just did 537 catches of 5 ball! yay! I haven't been here for a while.

Anyway, justed wanted to sk a question. In my loacal paper, I saw an ad, saying a company wanted young jugglers/magicians/performers for a show in Blackpool. You have to send a DVD with a routine. Any thoughts of choreographing a routine, and any other tips. Thanks!

so did you beat my record, what was it, 400 catches??

Choreograpghy - I would pick a song, write down all the tricks you want to do, then listen to the song writing an order as you go thru. Pick something upbeat and preaferably xomething people know smile

Since nothings going on here, may as well bump the thread.

I was thinking of using something well known by Red Hot Chilli Peppers. Any other ideas for songs please?

Also, on topic, learnt random trick kick-up-ish. Ill try and explain what it is...

'I found a video ont eh internet of someone juggling (can't remember who) 3 balls to the beat of music, and it was very good. I think garfield (unsure of person) did a spoof of him but with five balls, and in it, he does an over the top throw, keeps looking through thepattern, and blindly does a side-kick-up, which fits back into the pattern'

... but I do it with only 3 balls...
