Well, seeing as we are starting to take over the

"Offical HOP "I just learnt a new move" thread", I thought we should contain this bit just to jugglerisng and the throwing and dropping of balls, clubs, rings and other miscellaneous juggling props.

Today I mothered learning 441.

I had a few throws of 531 but only 1 catch. I think my 5 is too high.

Note for the mods: I DEMAND on behalf of the jugglers on this site, as has been done with the aforementioned "Poi moves thread", that this one is made a sticky thread.

Otherwise its just favouritism really....

we have durbs now...
[siteswap guesses:
73131 is 713151 maybe? a hi-lo shower back into a normal shower?
and 5333 is 7333 which is a right good trick]
cole. x

Erm - after a little explanation;
73131 = High ball (maybe a 9) then 4 throws of a 2 ball shower...
5333 = 7333 biggrin

the other trick could be lots of different things depending on exactly how you do it - but the siteswap don't matter if you can juggle it biggrin

7333 eek - biggrin indeed!

you want club juggling but with meteros.
mike's mess with said meteor.
and then instead of a cross-follow, use a tangle for the crossover?

i reckon if you give 2bags a shiny penny, the idea in a pm and three weeks to practice and he'll nail it for you.

up for the challenge 2bags?
there's loads of time before uberpoi... wink

you saw what at glasto??!!!!??
how the f*ck did i miss something like that?

i didn't even know dancy did poi, let alone juggled three while doing hyperloops/airwraps at the same time - two years ago!!!

cool

anyway, it doesn't matter who did it first - it matters that we know someone who can do it wink

nice one on the 5b tommo - that's equal to what i got the last time i went for endurance with 5.

will try again soon as well as send yoo a pm (cos i would love a postcard).

hmm ... juggling meteors wouldn't be all that difficult smile.

mike's messing them would be more challenging because the throw when it's done with clubs (or staves wink) is made with the club pointing forwards (as opposed to backwards where it should be if it followed the weave exactly), but you wouldn't be able to turn the meteor forwards in the same way making the throw much more awkward frown.

however, merely airwrapping them (probably on triples) would be dead easy ubbrollsmile.

would say i'd learn it, but i'm still no where near eight poi which i promised i'd have by uber poi so i think i'll try and learn that equally pointless trick first.

5 balls:

9 catches of half shower (75 not (6x,4x))
645645
2 rotations of tennis
744744
all out of and back into the cascade smile

counted a few times but best run was only just over 150 catches frown
am finding my arms start to ache at about 60 catches and my runs are finished almost every time by a low throw from the left causing a collision.
more arm power required methinks...

and 3 balls:

3up piro into overhead

i doubt you'd want to juggle the wobbly ones at all.

cheers for the link loves the circus, but i think now its more a case of "do shitloads of 5 balls, possibly with wristweights, and do a bunch of press-ups every morning and evening".
