Well, seeing as we are starting to take over the

"Offical HOP "I just learnt a new move" thread", I thought we should contain this bit just to jugglerisng and the throwing and dropping of balls, clubs, rings and other miscellaneous juggling props.

Today I mothered learning 441.

I had a few throws of 531 but only 1 catch. I think my 5 is too high.

Note for the mods: I DEMAND on behalf of the jugglers on this site, as has been done with the aforementioned "Poi moves thread", that this one is made a sticky thread.

Otherwise its just favouritism really....

I got some new balls this weekend. They're much smaller than the 110g babache i used to use. Had some nice runs of 7b and 753 still looks good, as for 97531, i might need some more practice before i get that one going!

Attempting to get 534633 in 4clubs, and 642 (triple/double/single)

531 in flats twice in a row with one set-up throw

so it was a one sided 531 (right hand always does the 5's)?

if so, that's 5313 twice smile

very nice in flats - means you can juggle the pattern in a tiny space (the same amount of space as you do it with balls) if you want.

worked on 531 with the 3 bth (with balls) for a while - it works both sides (so i can do 5313) but it won't run yet.

I think I understand you... when I attempted to learn 534 I ended up almost doing 4,6x or something crazy mid-siteswap. Maybe you're throwing too low?

5 ball update: 239 catches last night at 9:18pm gmt. Not too shabby. Consistently getting 75+ catches.

On an unrelated note, its my birthday in 4 days (mark your calenders!) and I'll be able to use my DXs. Do you think they will improve my five ball cascade?

Compleatly pathetic compared to what all you guys are doing but this weekend I learned how to kick the ball up and start juggling immediately.

I'm pleased with myself anyway biggrin

Bwahah! A co-worker here has some juggling bags that were just layin around so I decided to give them a whirl... yet another toy I'm addicted to! So, for the last week with three ball juggling I got fountain (? i dunno juggling names, inside to out), shower (outside to in.. sketchy), mills mess (? i think that's it, arm crosses under the other for the tosses), behind the back to front toss, and various others...

Gah, I get addicted to this stuff too easy :P. I need to go buy some glow juggling toys...

Well done on backcrosses, but I would have left out the acrylic

Passing is great. Some people just turned up to pass with here, then I got sick for the last two days, but tomorrow....

I also been solidizing wall plane showers which are only good on doubles so far (bit of left-hand-throwing-the-double action though...)

And tried half shower with over the top throw wall plane single. This is harder than I planned, but should be quite easy in the end, and will look good on fire smile

Also tryin to learn flowers still, but not in this thread wink

I been tryin Toby Walker jobby but oooh it's a bit naughty.

Also tried highlow a bit.

Really want solid wallplane shower the other way from normal (throwin wit the left hand for me.) Cos if both hands were solid wall plane I'm sure that'd be good for tricks.

I is indeed in India and they got some good spinnyjuggle peeps here. They call it Banethi, but this only includes stick and meteor. Very good at it though, the teacher was originally taught by his grand-daddy.

So I may learn more meteor but it's blimmin hard and there's not enough time cos did someone say 'tabla'

but but but... i can do that confused

and with dips on the low club.
and with the over the top club doing a tobyflat.

and you is loads better than me confused

just stop thinking its hard - that normally helps me wink

i can do wallplane showers a little bit - i find singles faster but easier but i have not juggled for a while now.

roll on summer (which is like aerosol summer but is better for the environment)

Hey all!

Haven't posted for a week or so (blame the comp) my 4b mills mess is coming on now; bout 30 catches consistently now. Going to fundango convention tomorrow, at Notts Uni. Lookin forward to it!

@ hexagonic: your right, the DXs are making my 5b a bit dodgey, but ive managed 130 odd once. I can still do it well with beanbags though.

Oooo... also managed to do 441mm for about 30 catches, so I'm dead chuffed.

If anyone here's going to the convention tomorrow (doubt it), see you there.

T'ra

Edit: @ Hexagonic: how old were you when you managed 5b for 400 catches. I know you were fourteen, but how many months. Just wondered if you had an age advantage over me for that bet!

Im baaaack! Did you miss me?

Convention was good, but my 5b was really, really bad (my best was summit like 87; meh) but on the brightside, learnt 4b shower (i think I could have learnt it before, but the roof was high enough there for sevens) and also hi-low shower(?)(7131).

Oh yeh, realised I've been juggling five balls for 5 months now, not 6 (started in sept) so I've got an extra month to beat you, Hexagonic! Also, I'm 14yrs 4 days old, so you kinda had a big age advantage.

In other news, I'm going to the Notts international juggling convention on 4th March. Anyone going (again, doubt it).

Catching 3 in one hand is infuriating... I've only managed a 5c flash "proper" a few times...
