Well, seeing as we are starting to take over the

"Offical HOP "I just learnt a new move" thread", I thought we should contain this bit just to jugglerisng and the throwing and dropping of balls, clubs, rings and other miscellaneous juggling props.

Today I mothered learning 441.

I had a few throws of 531 but only 1 catch. I think my 5 is too high.

Note for the mods: I DEMAND on behalf of the jugglers on this site, as has been done with the aforementioned "Poi moves thread", that this one is made a sticky thread.

Otherwise its just favouritism really....

its the dirty trick, where you do a "propper" 5bt mills mess, with arms crossing over twice, looks quite painfull, but it ain't. There was a video on the web somewhere of eric doing it, but it seems to have buggered off. looks propper [censored] :-)

Juggling isn't useless, It just isn't useful.

not really sure if "its just a 5 beat mills" is the best description erics, 5 beat mills is the best way of describing that. Erics involves wrapping your arms round each other, so that they cross twice (just like 7 beat weave).

did you just say 5 club mills mess?.........
did you just say 8 clubs?.........

thats it, i now officially have a head ache

Nice going Tom...you might be able to do all the juggling this summer then and i'll be able to waltz around with a contact ball??!!

Ok well i am bored at work and i was on this (https://juggleanim.sourceforge.net/bin/simple.html) website playing around.and realised that in siteswap you can take any (i think) 3,4,5,9 ball siteswap and add numbers onto all the siteswap to make new ones.

So...74365 (5b) becomes 96587 (7b)
and 552 (4b) becomes 663 (5b) becomes 774 (6b) and 885 (7b)
etc

Last night I started learning passing with two people, one person (that's me) on 2count and the other on ultimates. And me doing 4count and the other person doing 3 count. confused

5 rounds of 753 bounce

hehe

(6x,4)(4,6x) is my bitch now spank biggrin
one round of 64 on the right is pretty solid now (a bit more work needed on the left before 645).
744 on the right every now and again (5 times last night).

managed a few goes of 615 (at f*cking last).
4b mills is finally getting there smile
working on 'scissors' - (4x,4x) with alternate right/left backcrosses for one of the 4x's - but only with balls for now...
and rob worked out a badass multiplex-sqeeuze catch thing with 4 balls which i can do and is lovely.

504 is sorted.
as is flipped 5bt mills.

i passed 7 clubs for the first time last night too.
which was nice.

new transition into (6x4)

from 6x4x (sync half-shower) throw an 8 (straight 8) from the right hand (that would normally throw the 6x), two fours (sync) and then straight in. Works on the same kind of throwing as 744 out of 6x4x.

Also try from 5b cascade, 733 and straight in.

Rob have you got that hi-lo triplex yet? wave

I dont understand most of that. mcp tried to explain the numbers system to me at the bjc but i forgot it when i got home.

Ah yes, this is a new move thread so here are my most recent new moves -

Erics extension,
Rubensteins,
Back crosses,
The one where you throw all three balls from one hand and catch all three in the other hand, no idea what its called.
And a few other bits that i dont know the names of or have any clue how to describe smile

And 3 ball bounce juggling cascade

3 club cascade as well

I think thats it smile

will you a monster.

intresting four ball trick. plex up two and slam/squeeze into the other hand then pop the triplex and keep juggling. triplex to triplex would be cool too, i cant do that.

beth, do you throw them up in a line?

backcrosses comming on, two in a row a bit more consistent.

more wallplane simple stuff comming together.

will, the scottish convention is off, do you wanna come visit anyway?

No, never tried that actually. I try to keep them in a triangle as long as possible with as many throws as possible.

Also, i know i said before that id learnt erics extension, i didnt have it solid but i do now (well, as solid as erics can get), and let me just say, its a lot harder for girls! We have certain things that get in the way when trying to cross arms quite that far smile

also, sorry to be a pain but can a nice juggler give me a simple but thorough explanation of the numbers system you guys use please? As id really like to be able to understand what you're saying smile
