Well, seeing as we are starting to take over the

"Offical HOP "I just learnt a new move" thread", I thought we should contain this bit just to jugglerisng and the throwing and dropping of balls, clubs, rings and other miscellaneous juggling props.

Today I mothered learning 441.

I had a few throws of 531 but only 1 catch. I think my 5 is too high.

Note for the mods: I DEMAND on behalf of the jugglers on this site, as has been done with the aforementioned "Poi moves thread", that this one is made a sticky thread.

Otherwise its just favouritism really....

yeah pre, dont give a [censored] for how hard or impresive the trick is, its doing it that brings the joy. I rember getting 7531 with balls as being one of my milestones of juggling, and its one of the most beutifull toss tricks.

sure maybe there are thease 'fast learners' wink who take 1 year to get to 5 clubs and for them its no big deal, but they have thier own milestones. When you get a trick, or find a new one, the feeling is the same no matter how 'good' you are..

thats kinda the point of this thread, you know?

found a new crack of the whip today, a backwards over the shoulder flick thats vollied forwards imedatly, it produces two cracks really close to each other, faster than straight volley.

not that anyone here knows what i just said... but hey, it please me greatly biggrin

no I honestly have no Idea what you just said and I understand what you're talking about the whole milestones thing solidifying 5 clubs for me has been difficult but It's coming along I guess. and clubs was never mentioned I always assume that when someone doesn't mention a props that they are talking about balls. but yes a 7531 was a nice trick with clubs.

7531 with clubs is a milestone IMO. Getting a flash of it, or even a couple of rounds is far harder than 5c cascade.

I've manage two 7531's from 4c, and I've tried it hundreds of times.

Who was it who said that assumption is the brother of all f*ck ups? ubblol Good to see you back here pre, but how come you only come on here at this time of year?? hug

I tried 7531 (with clubs) last night but it's really hard. My five is a sextuplet though which I think's cheating a wee bit smile
Got 10 catches of 4 club flats though which was satisfying. Also got a 4 club half shower I've been dreaming of...5 as wallplane flat 3 as normal flat. mmmmmmmm ubbrollsmile

Hey Tom nice whip trick but yeah, got no idea what you're talking about!!

well usually when we want people to know that whatever is taking place is more difficult that any assumptiont that could take place we mention that. but suit yourself I landed 864 with balls today that was an accomplishment for me.

loadsa new stuff!! i think i've got everthing i learnt/saw at bjc down at last!
lots of round the body movement, quite flowing, high, lows, round legs, back, neck (sometimes) contort, penguin etc
my acrobatics is improving too which is why i can do round the body stuff i guess.
i'd like to hang upside down on a trapeze and juggle next wink
4 balls coming along ok and 5 has a marked improvement, usually about 10-15 throws, its sooo hard!!
had a go on rings today, they're a bit odd!

2 ball routine Will? Sounds splenedi, I can't wait to see.

I been passing a lot, which is always splendid. I found a boy who I could pass seven with well, so we started doing eight, and it was great. We got plenty past qualifying, and juggled it like. Did I mention splendid?

I'm here again Will. In England I mean.

Bah, it's cold here now ya know, not like summer over there, or just naturally-hot-all-the-time-because-that-obviously-makes-a-lot-more-sense like it was in India.

How is a man supposed to juggle eh?

Hello, dont venture over here much from the staff forum but thought i would cos i had a very productive juggle yesterday. I got 531 mills and 4453 (is that the right siteswap? its a 4 ball pattern) for the first time. Also got about 40 catches of 5 balls, which is by far my best run yet.

Does anyone have any suggestions where to go next with 4 balls? i can only do about 3 tricks at the moment (fountain forwards and back, 4453, and some weird multiplex pattern that i dont know the siteswap for). Ive been trying 4 ball mills but its taking forever to get.

At BJC I did not so much juggling, 'cos I've buggered my wrist. Tendonitis methinks, but I'm not sure.

I did however catch one more 7531, do some better runs with five clubs and some solid passing of 8 smile
