Posted:Well, seeing as we are starting to take over the

"Offical HOP "I just learnt a new move" thread", I thought we should contain this bit just to jugglerisng and the throwing and dropping of balls, clubs, rings and other miscellaneous juggling props.

Today I mothered learning 441.

I had a few throws of 531 but only 1 catch. I think my 5 is too high.

Note for the mods: I DEMAND on behalf of the jugglers on this site, as has been done with the aforementioned "Poi moves thread", that this one is made a sticky thread.

Otherwise its just favouritism really....

Yay, qualified 5 clubs around 4 times yesterday, 12 catch PB still stands.

The release feels a lot better these days.

Practice the cascade with every throw made in double spins. It opens up the world of siteswaps (423, 441, 531 etc) when you have control over the spins.

congratulations, i'll be with you in a year, when i've finally mastered five balls.

Just a year you say? Good luck, it'd be fantastic if you learnt 5 balls and then 5 clubs within that time. smile

Today I've learnt -

8 ball passing (triple single, 2 count)
Some ball and club stealing patterns.
... and some whacky shower passing pattern.

All thanks to Judith. Yay thanks.

-Learnt to flash 75751 from either hand. Next step is to combine this to run the pattern...
-Found myself a stacked multiplex into the 5 ball shower.
-Using the same multiplex I can also get into (6x,4)*. :P
-My (6x,4)* is feeling really solid lately.
-As is my 5b reverse cascade.
-I've also been been experimenting with random 4 ball siteswaps and multiplexs.

I can also run two diabolos very well. smile

9 club passing... amazing. smile

It's a real bugger...I've been practicing running 744 for as long as i can recently, and that seems to help (the 25 catches i did after a rund of around 100 744 catches). And yes i throw inside, outside (reverse) looks better, but it's much harder, and only really looks good once or twice.

Third seven being the first seven thrown from the opposite hand with which you started. tongue (75751 7)

I really struggle with throwing through the pattern. That's why my 744 is so bad, damn collisions. I'll keep trying through, cheers. smile

So when you learn 7 balls, will you be doing in it reverse cascade confused

Try these 4b SS -

741

714

575151

7441(4)

7333(4)

723

And try and get your 7's solid. Then try and run 744 for as long as you can, but do all of this with inside throws

If you want a really hard 5b SS, try 7571. I think you need two 6's to get into it.

juggle

eidt - and of course, make sure you can do the 4 ball shower well in both directions!!

Posted:It's as if you've been watching my practice sessions. tongue I've been practicing 7441, 7333 and 7531 with 4 balls, but still my left hand lacks the ability to correctly throw a seven! Will try those other siteswaps though...

When I run seven balls I use inside throws, will try a 7b reverse today though. I blame my tendency for outside throws on my half-shower patterns. I can do 75 comfortably with my right hand throwing 7's, but not my left.

Thanks again for t'advice. smile
