Well, seeing as we are starting to take over the

"Offical HOP "I just learnt a new move" thread", I thought we should contain this bit just to jugglerisng and the throwing and dropping of balls, clubs, rings and other miscellaneous juggling props.

Today I mothered learning 441.

I had a few throws of 531 but only 1 catch. I think my 5 is too high.

Note for the mods: I DEMAND on behalf of the jugglers on this site, as has been done with the aforementioned "Poi moves thread", that this one is made a sticky thread.

Otherwise its just favouritism really....

Yeah that trick is frickin hard. You got to get 4c sync fountains really solid. Then 4c sync columns. Then try splits. Tis still frickin hard tho...

I tried juggling 2020 with clubs last night. Forgotten how difficult it is. I can do it with balls, maybe even rings but certainly not clubs. I shall keep trying.

Hi people, I've been juggling balls for about 2 months now and am wondering how to do rubensteins revenge (not sure if that's the right name) and was hoping someone might be able to describe it (not an easy task by any means as I'm well aware that complicated moves need to be shown as opposed to told, but I'm hopeful)

Cheers

Right then. I has been practicign again, and now, i can generally flash 5 clubs, and I normally qualify it a few times in a practice.

I'm also getting some OK runs of 534 about 3 times through, back into fountains.

Also 5551 on triples is normally quite good.

7531 is still the bane of my life, I've caught it and almost but not quite got back into a fountain a few times...

The new thing what I tries is 12345 where 4 is single and 5 is double and 2 is where you role the club round the back of your thumb. Tis nice.

I also got over the s$#@s which had been getting in the way of the old practice

That's all folks...

do you do 534 with triple single double? I've been trying double single single but it's *really* hard.

Who is still juggling in London?? I'm so out of touch confused

Well, I do 534 triple single double indeed. It's got a funny rhythm. Soliding up 53 with left hand doing triples helped it out no end.

I'm in India you know, no serious juggler would stay in London during this kind of weather wink

Surely the rhythm would be dodgy? We all know double-single is slightly staggered, even with fairly lofty doubles!

Although, saying that, I'm sure Peter Bone managed it with all throws as singles... :jealous:

Yeah I know, it's sick isn't it??

there is also the double flat single variety, which i haven't tried yet...but me thinks it might be difficult...

97531 is really coming along - can generally do 10 catches most practise sessions, but now I am catching the 3's with the hand facing up instead of clawing it. And on both sides too. I had a comfortable run of 753 at the park on Sunday smile

753 sounds schurweeeet Will. It's like 531 for grown-ups.
And 97531 is like uber-mega 531 for really clever grown-ups.

Double flat single harrumph.
Vova does a all behind the back triple single double one. That is nice. Strait doubles over the shoulder really are tricky.

I was gonna practice today. But it's raining. In India!! Completely unacceptable...

no new trick, but had fatastic runs of 5 clubs and 7 balls. 37 max catches with 5 clubs.

many months ago i tried for about 2 hours to do a 7 ball flash. i got 2 within the first 15 mins then failed repeatedly til i gave up.
just yesterday i tried again for 5 mins, failed. so i then decided to see what would happen if i tried to run it. i nearly got sick. 8 cathces. within 10 minutes my best was 13.
Today i hit 14 once. its not consistant and its mostly a mess, but i'm astounded at how fast its coming to me, i spent months at 5 balls, more at 5 clubs. i'm freaked out man....

this ever happen to anyone?

This is stolen but worth it:

Keep going with the 5 clubs - I felt when my 5 clubs was better 7 balls suddenly became much easier. seven is a killer but when it's good, it's great. Nice one for getting a juggle...the first seven throws are the most important, cos if you mess them up, it's very difficult to correct yourself without having the rhythm yet. Also I find breathing out before launching helps, since most times doing seven at first you forget to breath, sounds stupid but true wink

Good luck!! ubbrollsmile

Bah to all of you with time to practice.
Being on the road making shows means I have no time for myself.
Although as I juggle knives in the show I have managed to catch a tripl flash - which is pretty sweet
