Well, seeing as we are starting to take over the

"Offical HOP "I just learnt a new move" thread", I thought we should contain this bit just to jugglerisng and the throwing and dropping of balls, clubs, rings and other miscellaneous juggling props.

Today I mothered learning 441.

I had a few throws of 531 but only 1 catch. I think my 5 is too high.

Note for the mods: I DEMAND on behalf of the jugglers on this site, as has been done with the aforementioned "Poi moves thread", that this one is made a sticky thread.

Otherwise its just favouritism really....

Lemonkey - Try holding the club near the knob end and throwing up slightly sloping the club downhill. I find once it starts to head back towards you things go wrong.

I've learnt 423 and441 in flats. 423 really helps.

Hey yo word.

I'm a juggler and I'm 'at' here.

At Spitz I actually juggled all night and got;

3cbx into flats strait back into bx

534 with clubs run through about 4 times which is better than usual

5551 on triples caught solid, just about once with the 1 behind the back.

I want to do something with over the head throws, like go strait into something interesting but they dont seem to lead anyway. Any ideas?

Also had a look at these 4c flats that keep being mentioned up here. No idea though, they blimin hard. Tried some 423 on flats to start me off

dunno if i should have called it snake or not... they all follow each other around but i think 4b snake would start with 4 in one hand? like a seven ball practice? what i mean is starting with 3 in one hand then its 2 balls one after the other from each hand, like a practice for 5b... looks like a snake to me tho and i'm chuffed i've got it clean.
i can't find a 5th ball at the mo frown so i'm practicing crossing patterns with 4.
also started playing with 651 but with 3 balls (only just realised its 4b now i've written it down) but couldn't get it to run symettrical - probably because of not having 4th ball... so if i put a 3 at the start that would make it a 3 ball pattern? siteswap still confuses me... anyhows, i can feel juggling coming back to me (although i have just got some new double contact staffs, mmm, double fishtails)

Blimey.

Site swap DVD is bit ludicrous.

5p31 with 44p1 on either side is pretty mad. Would like to try it. I bet it could be done in a triangle as well. Amazing stuff. So much numbers for you mR COle smile

Also hey yo' word Willy and Tom and rock on smile

had a nice session today, outside! eek

mainly just impressing myself with how solid things are compared to a few weeks ago, so had loads of good 4c runs, and learnt to transition from 4c singles to half shower, tho not back again frown gotta leave something for tomoro wink

not quite so impressed with my 4c sync stuff.... but i hammered it a bit today, should get better soon.

3 3c bx starting with the left hand... man why are thease things so slow to learn??? I swear its been 2 years since i first did a backcross... and my record is still 4.

other news, big long 5b run, a huge truck went by half way though and blew its airhorns, and i dint drop! woot!

beer now, tv, ahhhh

Oddly enough i find the timing and accuracy of throws with a 531 better in flats - it doesn't need to go too high, and I thought about trying it in singles, and it wasn;t difficult to get a flash straight from the cascade back into it. I haven;t tried running an all singles 531, but I think it may be a little easier than high and fast triple single pass,

14 catches of 5b mills mess! I realised you had to increase the speed with which you move your arms. I was initially keeping the same speed as my 5b reverse cascade, but soon realised you have to increase the speed slightly which means you have to be quick and accurate. I reckon I'll have it solid in... 4 months.

For four months I haven't been able to beat my record of 6 catches on clubs continous behind the back on singles. And today I doubled it to 12 catches. I even had time to mutter "Oh my god!" before dropping biggrin

Sigh. Everything is getting significantly harder these days. Today I decided to have a go at 534 with clubs, which I haven't done for ages. I nailed two rounds and back into the pattern, first time. Then I managed it a few more times, and a run of four rounds. Thens suddenly I couldn't even manage the first bloody triple of the siteswap. I kept trying but I constantly did a 2.5 which pissed me off.

And 5 clubs is going nowhere! At least I can catch 4/5 clubs these days, instead of 1 and four drops.

I started learning the 4 club flats of which much talk there has been. I managed to flash it once out of 4c singles and then back into 4c singles, which was most pleasing.

I think the best way to learn it is to have done flats for hours and hours with 3 clubs, which is what I did, then go strait for it out of 4c singles on fountains smile

I'll be honest no idea of the siteswap or the name but it is continuous mulitplexes with 5 balls.

2 balls thrown which split to land 1 in each hand. am toying with puting orbits into this too

A couple of balls short of a full cascade... or maybe a few cards short of a deck... we'll see how this all fans out.
