Well, seeing as we are starting to take over the

"Offical HOP "I just learnt a new move" thread", I thought we should contain this bit just to jugglerisng and the throwing and dropping of balls, clubs, rings and other miscellaneous juggling props.

Today I mothered learning 441.

I had a few throws of 531 but only 1 catch. I think my 5 is too high.

Note for the mods: I DEMAND on behalf of the jugglers on this site, as has been done with the aforementioned "Poi moves thread", that this one is made a sticky thread.

Otherwise its just favouritism really....

are club backcrosses easier than with balls

I find it easier with clubs, as you can just flick your wrist and it flies up and over.

But I suck at backcrosses, they hurt my shoulders.

Is it a new trick?

Is any thing ever new? I had some tricks that I had invented; then i saw will juggling 5 balls, now i just have tricks;

PS backcrosses with clubs are a fair bit easier than with balls, you just have to practice doing them always... like when you are sleeping, or picking your nose, or playing the piano...

juggle juggle juggle, i havn't posted here for ages, has everyone stopped being all GattoGattoGarfieldGarfield... yet?

i have some new tricks, they are nice, they do not have names, oneday i will not drop the balls:-)

Juggling isn't useless, It just isn't useful.

I solidified 534 last night, I could run it for a while but not solid - the throws were always too low. I did the 5 to practicalled a 7 height every time and it's perfect...

Yesterday and this morning I felt my 3club mm was coming on really well. I could get over 30 catches pretty consistent. However, today at school I managed to black out for now apparent reason, so ended up going to hospital, where I've been injected with drugs and what have you, and now I can't juggle to save my life! My hand eye coordination isn't what it used to be...

@ Hexagonic-

You said that you've been juggling roughly five years, and are 27 (I think thats what you said before) so how does it work out that you learnt to juggle 5b at 14 for 400 catches. Something doesn't add up here...

On a side note, hand-eye coordination back to normal! I can happily do 4b mm and clubs and what have you again!

mtg - good to hear you're feeling better smile

and here's a clue as to hex's juggling experience: if you learn a 5b cascade over the course of a year or so, then don't juggle at all for 6 years, and then start juggling again, have you been juggling for 7 years or 1-2 years...?

juggle

anyone else miss that pre kid?

nope, me neither... ubblol wink

aaaahhhh... that makes more sense! You're off the hook now Hexagonic. So, technically, I've been juggling 1 yr 1 month (known how to for 3.75 yrs altogether, but only seriously for 1yr 1 month).

ps: in theory, that makes me only been juggling for 4 years(2 years off for good behaviour ubblol actually, to learn poi and staff... but i think it don't count.. so i'll stick with my usual figure of 6 1/2 and feel like a slow learner...)

Actually it was 9 years. stopped at 15 and restarted at 24. So i guess i've been juggling for 5 years now. ubbrollsmile

3 club shoulders are getting more solid, backcrosses just seem to take ages to learn. Not met another juggler since mid december in Thailand frown

I'm just starting to learn how to keep three balls in the air without lunging or staggering for about a minute.

and on the criteria above, I would say I've been juggling for about a month
