Well, seeing as we are starting to take over the

"Offical HOP "I just learnt a new move" thread", I thought we should contain this bit just to jugglerisng and the throwing and dropping of balls, clubs, rings and other miscellaneous juggling props.

Today I mothered learning 441.

I had a few throws of 531 but only 1 catch. I think my 5 is too high.

Note for the mods: I DEMAND on behalf of the jugglers on this site, as has been done with the aforementioned "Poi moves thread", that this one is made a sticky thread.

Otherwise its just favouritism really....

4b cascade, kick up into 5b biggrin

Some (a wink ) 5b inversecascade multiplex things.

4b cascade, with one caught behind back, back into 4 again.

I still havent properly got my 3up pirooettes, despite saying I first did one, just under a year ago rolleyes

I think i qualified a 5 ball shower the first time I did it and I think ive already said this anyway.

Still trying to get 423 with the 4s caught behind.

Starting to feel like a proper juggler now wink

juggling with the north (adam) last night, i learnt how to steal a cascade from the front and from the side (snake style rather than stepping in).

managed to catch a cascade dropped back to behind too.

744 wasn't working like it was on saturday.

but 2 stage pirouettes are finally getting more reliable (about 2 out of 5) eek

i also broke my 6b record - 26 catches async.

am working on:

744

66661

5b 3up piro's

4567123

423 (it never ends)

p.s. no ejc for me this year - i'll be at play smile

but tuesday i was mostly working on diabolo wink

and getting a 5b cascade for the length of time it took ewan to practise his routine.

and 22 back crosses. yes!

and 423(c) with the 2 as a thumb spin and the 3 as a back cross...

so many passing sgiznits its not true.

passing with ian rocks.

sequence now (no drops) is:

6c 2count, kick up into 7 doubles, into popcorn, back again, down to singles, and drop onto foot back into 6c 2count.
and repeat....

biggrin nice one megafish - that took me *ages* to get to.
and since then, i still haven't broken the 200 mark due to crap form frown

yesterday it was sunny outside so i went to the park on my lunchtime and learnt how to put a backdrop into an overhead cascade (one ball dropped behind, caught lazy and put back into the over head pattern as normal).

i also got backcross into overhead cascade - next, the backdrop into a contortion (cheers drew smile).

i'm having lots of fun with cascades at the moment - just moving them around and stretching them out and stuff but it looks loads nicer than it used to.
or maybe i'm just being lazy and not learning any new tricks... wink

nice one jonnneeeee.

744 from my right hand is getting semi-solid - a similar consistency to jelly maybe?
left hand 7's still suck, especially in 5b cos they seem higher.

not strictly juggling (yet... wink) but floats/glides are really starting to make sense now - less of a 'this is one move' and more of a 'this is the general theory that works everywhere' feeling.
there's lots to think about but every now and then, it all falls together and they look proper smile

i didn't go to the bjc this weekend, so that is all.

That didn't stop me working on some new stuff over the weekend ubbidea

got 12 catches of 753 in rings (5)
531, 441, and 501 in rings (pancakes). 501 really helps - suggest anyone try it for help with clubs ubbrollsmile

Half shower in 4 rings (all pancakes) (well, i threw about 6 and caught about 2, maybe 3)

Yesterday tried 933 in bouncing. really difficult in a doorway redface

Tom i look fwd to seeing you do 7 in singles.

Cole have u tried 723??

The BJC taught me many exciting things. Not as exciting as the rest of this thread, but hey, you've gotta start somewhere smile

4 ball 552, *almost*

clubs:
flourishes with both hands
under arm
under leg
and almost behind the back throws

passing:
2 count
3 count - ish
some 3 way passing stuff

Not bad progress, all in all. I'm so close to 4 clubs too, honestly I am. So close. Yeah.

"Take that, math!"

damn wuss juggler that i am rolleyes wink

haven't tried 723 yet will.

have been messing around with 711 with 3 which turns out to be a lot harder than it sounds, especially with the 11 bit going behind then in front like its supposed to.

if you hear a rumour that i've been playing with a stage ball more recently, ignore it - i just found that it makes a good bath toy is all smile
