I'm a student too. Does that automatically make me wierd, or do I need to prove myself before moving into the "wierd student" category?

Poi means ball in Japanese.

Poi is a slightly fermented, sticky food paste eaten in the Pacific islands, usually accompanied with meat, fish, or vegetables. It is made by grinding or pounding the roasted, peeled roots of the taro.

To turn the root into a paste, guess what they do?

They put it in little bags and swing it.

Starting to catch on now?

Sorry Jem, just reread that and realised how patronising it sounded! Wasn't intentional, I'm just having a really bad week.

Sorry. smile

Poi means ball in Japanese? I remember someone else saying that before...as far as I can find, "poi" doesn't mean anything in Japanese, and "ball" is "booru", "tama", or "mari"

Perhaps we could incorporate rice pudding, vodka and poi....it would be like dinner party poi.

i would have changed ***** to phallus, and claire to petey Petey

Rougie: but that's what I'm doing here
Arnwyn: what letting me adjust myself in your room?..don't you dare quote that on HoP...
