I've seen a couple of viseos and some of the really good ones had great rhymth and grace so it got me thinking, how many of you can dance? Surely some of this rhymth must be natural.

As for me, I don't dance. Ever. As far as I go is head nodding and knee bouncing, I just don't have the rhymth for it which is partly why I took up poi -- to try and teach myself some rhymth.

Give me a lever long enough and a place to stand and I can beat the world into submission.

Bobo's dance if the want to! I dance at the dinner table QUITE a bit. Having a meal with me must be entertaining. I sing and dance while eating, and have never choked in my life! *knock on wood*

Entertaining sounds correct.

But yeah, don't choke, because then it'd be... uhhhhhh... very entertaining?... I mean very, very bad. biggrin

But how dorky would you have to be to practice glowstick/liquid moves in the shower? *looks around nervously

i danced to Love Shack (MY SONG!!!!!) on my own, in the living room, the first night i took Will home to meet my parents (it was new years and i was very drunk... he also ended up meeting one set off grandparents and speaking to another set on the fone... poor thing)

My dancing was great though, he saw me in a different light then. I was officially a freak.

No, dorky would be if you practiced gs-l moves in the shower with glasses on so you can see what you're doing.

You're just obsessed, that's all.

And check your PMs, biatch spank;)

(not that I've done moves in the sower with glasses on, or anything...)

I don't so much dance as bounce really... as long as I'm having fun, I'm happy.

I can bounce around like a lunatic and juggle at the same time, which looks quite good with Aerotech balls in a club smile

bounce2 + juggle = biggrin

Yes I can.

In fact, I teach dance classes all professionally and stuff, and even own/direct/choreograph two dance troupes.

Whether or not I am good. Well, that is subjective. wink

I dance like a crazy fool biggrin and people think it's cute. I sway when I spin, like wiggling my hips and twisting and junk. It seems to get the lads' attention!

I can dance, in all kinda of different ways. Mostly I dance to sexy-type trance metal, like some stuff by mortiis and the kidneythieves. But yeah, lots of hips and wiggles and stuff like that.

I used to dance in my student days *shudders at the memories* and do really enjoy it - but I hardly get a chance now. Whenever I do get the opportunity, it's usually when I've got my poi or CJ balls, so I end up dancing with them instead of dancing openhand.

I'm learning lots of liquid, popping and gliding - but I'd never use these in a club as a) I used to hate people who did that and b) I'm nowhere near good enough biggrin

There is music on everywhere you go now days Durbs. My problem is to remember not to dance. I'm often found standing in a queue in a shop wiggling my ass! biggrin

An excellent way to be found, Skully smile

Dancing is kinda like therapy - very freeing. I find that the less I care about how I look, the better I dance and the more fun I have. Funny how that works bounce2

yer skully! public dancing rocks! im one of those lovely people who can rarely resist dancing to music; i got teased because i wiggle my finger, shoulders, hips, toe and head when i listen to nice music (best if its jazz-try it!)

but at raves it's totally different. ok, so dancing at a school disco was OK-but you were always being watched, but at raves...*sigh* i dont drop, but everyone else is censoreded, so who gives a censored?

outdoor rave, right infront of the UV's with these black and white arm warmers (twas chilly) and just looking at the sky...then WHAM! you're right in the beat again..then it s..l..o..w..s.. d..o..w...n...then WHAM again...

biggrin

its like acting for me too-im buzzing from it, shaking, smiley...

sorry, but today is a Good day

so dance your sass!

All i can say that i learned to dance and not to give a f***k what i look like while doing it at psytrance parties. i was a bit shy before and wayyyy to concerned with what other ppl think of me. Well now i go to some posh house club(a friend dragged me into that shithole) on some certain island in the mediterranean sea and show the cool and trendy crowd my mudstomping skills.you should have seen the looks i got, i felt that i was the only one moving around in there and that everybody else was too busy looking cool and stylin. maybe its the fact that im used to 144 bpm and upwards.
all i can say that dancing is about having fun and not impressing other ppl.

I have lots of trophies at home from when i danced competetitely - that was lots of fun. I'm also a qualified dance teacher, although my confidence in my own dancing skills has gone way downhill. I get scared to dance now even though i know i'm good. I need to get the mad, silly don't give a toss attitude back i always used to have.
