Made in september. Badly as per usual.

A very very very big video, that I haven't had time to chop up or make smaller yet. And won't for the next two weeks. It's the fourth in the illegal/stolen/borrowed spinning series. And it's definatly the best one I think.

It features fred astaire, break dancing, jackie chan and some very weird contact. As well as other bits and bobs, as ever.

https://videos.tepookatoys.com/media/illicit.wmv ~ 220mb

Yes, it is HUGE. But fred astaire, I mean, how can you compress him? He's not even doing cane manipulation... wink

There have been about twenty on something new videos added over the past couple of weeks, but I'll leave you to ferret them out.

this is my main reason for posting here:

This list represents what I consider 'base' contact movements. Most other moves are combinationsof this moves, variations, or these movements transfered to a different plane. These moves can be broken down into their component parts, but the way I present them here is as symmetrical (hopefully) movements. So for instance you can end a SNES with a vertical steve arm roll, but you'd break the symmetry of the SNES, so I don't present that here.

They are in rough order of difficulty and impressiveness. It all depends on how you learn thou.

To be honest I didn't really like that vid. I think alot of the moves have the potenial to look nice when they are performed smoothly and the few which were smooth did look really nice.

The contact stuff (although impresses) didn't do it for me either, too broken up greeky moves not enough flowing combinations of what looks good (fun to play about with but not the sort of stuff I like on vids). Still there were moments were it worked.

Anyway thats just my opinon. still think your spinning grate just this vid aint going in my favourite

Maybe I should change this too something abit nicer, humm no I still think your all Ccensoredt

yes that's my opinion too now. I thought it was obvious by now that 'trick' is a dirty word. wink

oh no wait, that's not a joke.

I was sick of this video by the time I finished it. I quite like the new spinny stuff though. I think I'm getting to the almost sick of contact phase. So that probably means I should go practise more... biggrin confused ubbidea ubbloco

Hey mcp,

I've just got into contact after spinning non-contact with a crappy old broomstick for ages. And guess what? It's all your fault for posting such a huge array of cool moves for me to wish I could do :P (I spent a while browsing your website a while back)

And as for the latest video: I agree with NYC that the first bit looked kinda awkward, but I though the second half was great. Love the vertical half-steve + the matrix variations + ... well lots of stuff.

And that ending just made me laugh smile I think I could do that move too... Nice work!

Sweeet ass stuff - most of which ive been playing with already - you do frontside angel rolls differant to Sandy tho? as for the reverse reyouts - fecking smooth, well done.

Most inspired trick there for me that i never thought of before - frontside horizontal steve eek why oh why did i not think of that before - and its eezy too! Thank you hug - opens up more matrix variations that one. Try the "stevetrix" frontside - damn its hard smile

Thanks for posting yet another inspiring video........

But even bigger thanks to Ado-p for being a dumbass wink and making you make the vid in the first place biggrin

ah.

C42f: Yeah I call that move: "Postmodern expansion with a temperamental wind gust following falling stick." wink

strugz: it's not a frontside angel, it's related but not one.

Reverse layouts are much easier than real layouts. I've got to work on keeping my palm pointing upward. Reverse is just like: half angel roll, bailout into elbow wrap...

I don't get to spin anything but my routine anymore... frown

You could always pretend your staff is really hot (in the cute sense of the word) and that you're contact dancing with it?

Or something smile

Either way... wiggle woman, dammit smile

Glowsticking? Puh, what are you? American?
