hello everybody!
i saw on google image search after searching for poi pics someone doing 'hoop poi' which by the looks of things is two hula hoops in each hand sort of 'poi-ing'
looks cool, i was wondering if anyone had tried it and would recomend it?

I saw this for the first time the other day so I can't offer any info but...it looke amazing! Especially as they were all glowy in he dark. Brilliant!

I use hoops for twirling like poi and for hula hooping.
I discovered them about a year and a half ago and now I'm hoop mad. I can do a few of the same moves as I do with poi with them but the hoops are much more wristy and harder to manipulate. It's fun and good for a change from the poi or staff and it looks great.
You can make hoops easy with irrigation pipe and colourful/glow in tha dark tape. If you want instructions go to the fire hoop forum in other toys and there is a link there for how to make hoops, the hoops I make are a slight variation on these but they are a good design.
Anyhow, hoops are fun.
