Juggling club tonight... Fancied a cuppa, so we were boiling the kettle and my friend picked up my sock poi and went "how do you do the weave?" i said "like this, do this, do this, repeat on the other side".

By the time the kettle had BOILED, she had it down. Fist time she'd picked up poi.

Can anyone beat that? eek

Actually, i really admire the kid i was teaching last week. She wanted to learn the weave. She must be about 9, and most of the 9 year olds swing wildly for 2 minutes, say "it's too hard", then go away.

This kid stayed and let me teach her, and by the end of the night she had the 3bt on one side, but a 2bt on the other, thus messing her up.

I gave her my sock poi to take home and she walked in last night with a perfect 3bt weave.

Then i showed her butterfly and watched her teach herself BTH butterfly. smile
