Romanians beware! a little dragon is headed your way next year! (that kinda rhymes! and i didnt even mean for it to!)
a lovely (fat!) letter arrived in the post today "i am delighted to let you know that you have been recomended for a placement with GAP in Romania, teaching English as a Foreign Language"
i will get a phone interview within the next few months to determine my specific placement, and i will find out "from mid-september" where and when exactly i am going.
I'm so excited! reading the details on Romania; "Romania is a fascinating and beautiful country..." it was sinking in! i'm going to be in Europe next year!

Heh, I think I went through something similar actually.. Just going a bit crazy around your new friends, because they don't know how you were before, and can mess with their minds
I always have fun with 'Canniable day' and run after them biting their jackets.... 
(Funny bit, I've been Veggie for 3 years now )I've been meaning to do an update on my life soon... Just got back yesterday from another trip (2 actually), and oh the 4th, was my 6 month away from home mark. A bit scary, a bit impressive, whole lot of sad though. *sigh* And the fact that I now have my return ticket is also scary! A real date to count down to now... eep!

i dont have canniable day....but i am being pretty crazy!
im in turkey at the moment!
kind of lost my friends...made some new friends, my other friends nicked off out of drunken jealousy....i think i am meeting them at the station at 9:30....i hope....wish me luck!

the persons whose accent i stole didnt run off - my friends did! cos i was talking to new people and annoying them with my chameleon accent! when i saw them again on sunday, they kept threatening to kill me if i spoke with the accent! and i did every now and again as well!

turkish has characters that we dont, so the key boards are set up slightly differently!
tomorrow i am going on an 8 day tour! prolly cant reall afford it, but one only lives once and i am going with valuras thing that she said about sliding into my grave saing "life was FUN!"

*sulk* wishing it was only a 7 day tour now....this tour had better be [censored] worth it! I'd better have enough time in Istanbul next wednesday night before my train to Sofia!
I am so in love with this city! and this backpacker hostel feels like home!
And i wish my tour was now only 7 days! DAMMIT!!!!!!!!!!!

the tour did turn out to be only 7 days! so i got more time in istanbul!
*and there was much rejoycing*
however that meant i got shopping time, so i bough a whole lot of presens for my friends and family. I'M POOR!
i could so live in istanbul!
and now i am in sofia for 3 days before going back to romania saturday night.
