hello, have been thinking about buying Glometeor Pro poi. They look really cool, but seem a bit expensive. has anyone seen them in action and would you recommend buying them. A more detailed description of them can be found here. www.globall.com

I've got a pair biggrin

I think they're lovely ubblove

Quite heavy and a bit strange to use as they're solid and take up about half of your chain/string/cord length, so things like airwraps, buzzsaws and wraps are a bit wierd.

On the plus side - they look gorgeous, never run out of battery and have a great variety of programs. The battery will easily last a few days of happy spinning (say at a festival) or probably months of sporadic use.

If the GloMeteors are slightly too pricey - you could get the ProBalls and put them in nets on the end of strings

I dont own a pair purely as i dont have that kinda cash frown Yet!

But i have played with Durbs and they are really really nice and like he said they look awesome biggrin

I would recommend not going for the Blue White and Green ones though - as they are becoming far too common, eh Durbs biggrin

Hi folks !

Just a question about Aerotech spinning stuff : I don't really understand the difference between glopoi and glometeor, except what's said on the website : "The double polycarbonate shaft gives a full length glow and increased end weight."

So if the glowing surface is longer on the glometeors, what's the point in buying glopois (considering they're at the same price) ? I guess glometeors can be used the same way as glopois. Am I right or just stupid ? ^^

Just out of interest, whats it like doing tangles with them? I really need to try spinning I guess, but some feedback would be great!

(Is this really the first thread talking about the things?!)
