It's a great tradition. Stop work sometime in the afternoon, have a bite to eat and get a bit of caffeine in you, take a deep breath, and then carry on.

I wish we did it here.

What time did you call? It could be that work had already stopped, we're a fair few hours ahead of you americans after all.
As mentioned earlier, it's most likely that your friend had food waiting for her to come and eat rather than just stopping for a cup of tea smile

But there's no sense crying over every mistake. You just keep on trying till you run out of cake.

Think of all the practice you could get inserting catheters...

There is a slight possibility that I am not actually right all of the time.

yes! we're onto biscuits! choccie digestives, or kitkat similar wafer things (tend not to buy nestle)
i also like just solid chocolate into hot chocolate, and sponge fingers into coffee (half way thro trifle time...)
oo-also salt &vinegar crisps in real ale, or beer. its surprisingly tasty wasty.

(and i'd pee for you if i could lightning! yeh...im generous like that... biggrin ubblol

Honeybush all the way! smile Although Earl Grey is nice too with a bit of milk and sugar.

You guys should see how we eat here. biggrin Breakfast, lunch and dinner we have rice with 2-3 viands. Mid-morning and afternoon snack we could have either a sandwich or some pasta dish.

Faberge, if you ever make it this way... you'll see what I mean! smile

biggrin ok, you've convinced me now, i'm on my way biggrin

My mind not only wanders, it sometimes leaves completely smile

ok tim tams are probably the nicest choc biskit ever made
every relative or mate i have had come over from another country has never herd of them yet they buy a suitcase just to fill with timtams when they leave so they must be good :P
u can bitea corner out both ends and suck ur tea or coffe through them and they are friggin nice i tell ya what.

but yeha look in an aussie shop in your country or in an exotic confectonary store ull find them but they would probably be expensive with imports and all and being such a nice biskit
i advise trying them on ur aussie visit if ur ever in this neck of the woods ubbloco

Tim tams are a similar biscuit to penguins, but different taste/ texture. They sell them in Tescos.

You can buy tim tams in any decent sized Tesco's. Last time I looked they did double chocolate, caramel and something else like beetroot or sprout or possibly even plain.

There is a slight possibility that I am not actually right all of the time.

Mmmmmmm Tim Tams!
That was the one thing that I missed from home when I was traveling... Penguins DONT COMPARE!!!!!!
So tesco stock them now???!! That is the best news I have heard in a long time. My next London trip will be so much tim-tammier : )

For those of you who have never eaten one, and don't have a local tesco stocking them, find an 'australia shop' in your major city, and buy a pack : )
