Keith (a Slice of Toast wink ) came up with this last night.... I couldn't do it, I just smacked my self in the face lots

What fun

Round-the-waist roll in horizontal plane -->
Lift knee (on the side nearest the staff) -->
Staff rolls down top of leg -->
Matix-esque move now. Lean back and raise knee more, staff spins on knee, you lean back underneath staff
--> Complete staff spin, bend back up again
--> Grab staff

Keith is VERY bendy, so it might not be possible unless you too are very bendy. But it looks very cool smile

yep. start from the foot, up to the knee, then around the waist and grab from behind. at least it's easier for me, cos you lean back first and can see the stick for more of the move.

Tenticle - does your variation include the knee-spin? Otherwise it's just a leg roll. Well, I say "just", still 'ing hard smile

yep. normally. depends if i can flick it so enough of the staff gets past my thigh. then it kind of balances on the top of my calf muscles around my knee. sometimes it balances on the tip of my knee... about as often as it balances on the tip of my elbow doing elbow rolls.
i find starting from round the waist way harder as you have to lean back and feed the staff round where you can't see it, and i can't get enough of the stick onto my knee to stop it going straight to my foot.
