One of the local malls was looking for street performers...Our tiny group decide to try out for it and we've been asked to audition this Friday. Hopefully our somewhat basic skills will suffice. Really excited/nervous (hence the lack of sleep). Oh well!
We're hoping they'll let us spin there as the crowd's a bit better and the place a bit safer than where we currently meet. Wish us luck! *crosses her fingers*

Rehearsal update... We're still all a jumbled bag of nerves (probably me more than the other two) eek!
Icon was right when he said there's much one can do with the practice set... once lit... "Oh look! I can do the weave!!!"
) On the plus side though, at least we're no longer rooted to our spot (have discovered using space)Will hold head high though and shoot for the stars anyway. We're banking on a chance that they've never seen actual spinners before.
And might be duly impressed...I'll try to upload my vid (there was only enough space on the roof deck for a single spinner at a time)... We'll get a bit better practice and experience. Gotta start somewhere...

You'll do just fine. If you have confidence in yourself it'll shine through & make a world of difference! Just act like no one is watching you, don't worry about what they're thinking or that they're even there until after you're done. Go out & kick some fire ass!

Our audition got moved to today... I think we got the gig!!!
Thanks for the moral support guys! We've also acquired a couple new spinners... and made at least some Kero money for next week...
The new place wonderful! We're performed right with moving statues and mimes. Can't wait for next week. Still working on a proper routine that will get our sets to last longer than five minutes.
We have three spinners so I think we'll split up to prolong the show. Might get free parking after all. Quite excited... Experience is that marvelous thing that enables you to recognize a mistake when you make it again.
