Ehmz, are you dutch? Rode kleuring/kleurzweem... -> All the colors in the picture are red/yellowish, no blue/green/daylight colors...

A permit... Well, if you would be very official, yeah, because fire in Public isn't allowed... But in a park that really isn't a problem... And when you're not asking for money and know what you're doing, most cops wont give much trouble...

Saturday.... Maybe... Cause maybe I'm going to a kata Chatanyara Kushanku stage, depends on other people from my Dojo... i'll know tonight whether I'm going or not

Yes i'm dutch ...why are we talking english here anyway smile
Kleurzweem is a problem indeed...found that out recently,
I took those pictures when i just bought my D-70 and didn't understand what RAW was for.
With RAW it's easier to correct the problem.

well, for our international people on this thread ofcourse, Foxylady or Tonygirl for example...

Taking pictures in RAW... Didn't think of that before, and because I didn't had photoshop CS before I never took the effort of taking pictures in RAW... But since yesterday I'm up to date again ubbrollsmile, so for my next session fire-pics I'll try RAW...

Ah true international people...

Yep RAW is just great for this kind of thing...what camera do use ?
The problem i now have is that i use lightstrong lenses F2.8 and below with those lenses it's harder to make nice long closuretime pictures....ah well just have to get used to doing it

hehe, I feel slightly underequipped compared to you, but a Canon powershot G2... A compact camera with most of the (manual) options from most SLR's...

Btw, what are your skills smile... For example; are you able to teach me some swordfighting?

Hellos!!!!!

biggrin biggrin biggrin biggrin biggrin biggrin biggrin biggrin

thanks so much to everyone who came on friday night - omigod, what a totally amazing evening - perfect setting, not too much rain and many, many really talented firespinners!!

I really appreciate all those who made the effort to come to the Vondelpark on friday night - I think everyone had a great time and I really hope you guys all start meeting up regularly - will give me an excuse (if I need one!) to come back.

I landed in belfast airport half an hour ago and now I am sitting in work feeling quite close to death eek
It was a very, very hazy weekend for me, but I had the best time - saw all my friends and made some new ones hug

take care everyone - and if anyone has any video footage I'd love to see it!!

Clare xo

Hiihii,

"...and I really hope you guys all start meeting up regularly"
well, more meetings like the vondelpark meeting sounds certainly good, but its kinda difficult getting so many people in the same place at the same time... But I definately want to repeat this when summer is coming, [when people are less afraid of the cold wink]

The video footage will take... at least 1.5 months frown... I have to wait untill someone has spare time for making my vid digital, and the other guy with a camera is off to slovakia for a month....

Good luck in Ordinary Life again Clare tongue

a COL video... from the Netherlands???? Intewesting...

I just saw COL5 this morning <>, and there were video's... Unbelievable... I felt really bad after watching it smile...

Anyhow... how about a medium to BIG meeting again, for just brainstorming on what to do with the vid and practising???

Or you could tell me how to put the video in my gallery :-s... It's big enough, but, it just doesn't work...
