hey, is there anyone on HOP who is currently or shortly will be living in holland? just moved back home and i havent found the spinning community yet
spinning on my own is fun, but, ya know, i gotsta find some, umm, colleagues (?).. identify yourselves! im lonely

naw you need to get lijn 9 from central station.. it ends up at the same place @ the kurhaus but it stops at central.. 17 is a possibillity but it ends up at the harbor. so it would be a walk to the pier.. not that that is so bad if the wheather is nice

Hey Mickey, it would be great if we could use your house as emergency shelter! How does your dad feel about it? Would it be better to meet somewhere closer to your place if your dad doesn't mind having his place invaded by smelly firey people? And how are the assignments coming along?
Weather update (yes, I am obsessed): 40% chance of rain, 40% chance of sun, 17 degrees... could be worse! Soooooo what time shall we meet? Is this viable picknick on the beach typie weather? (btw, Bobo hinted at banana muffins.... this means the rest of us will have to bake too
)
For: 5pm, picknick on the beach, everyone bring foodstuffs, say "aye"
For: 5pm, but picknicks are for chicks and hippies, lets order pizza, say "i'm a wet blanket"
For: Don't be stupid, there's a 40% chance of rain, let's meet at 8 so we can at least get some spinning in the dark in before we get drenched/frozen, say "my glass is half empty"
Taking votes..... NOW!
Oh, and for other ideas, please use idea box over in the corner there...

@neph & mot: i will go straight to the hague, not via utrecht (it's shorter). ill wait at the platform where the intercity from utrecht to the hague stops.

Whoo, so who's got pic and vids for me?:D I took a few, Mot's got them on his computer now, might make something of the footage I took.
Hmm, other than that, other than a bit windy, sandy, and a (possible) broken nose (with frantic taxi drives, and making the last train before the night schedule starts and then realizing the taxi drivers here are evil, and walking home again), it was reeeaaallllly a GREAT time here with you guys!!! Even found a hiccup sister, or something to that affect

Hi Guys, I was so disappointed that I had to miss the last meet.. so now I’ll try to pick a date: how about not this weekend but the weekend after that. I would really like to poi on the beach, so are there more people in favour of another beach-meet on saturday the 4th of june??

Hi everyone, I'm a South African in Amsterdam (til the end of July) and thanks to Mot, I actually realised that I'm not a lost soul swinging poi by myself in the Netherlands. I've never done poi in a group before (and I'm not that good either, but I know stuff ), so I'm really excited about when the next meeting is.... and I can't wait!
