frown hi there,

hey, is there anyone on HOP who is currently or shortly will be living in holland? just moved back home and i havent found the spinning community yet confused

spinning on my own is fun, but, ya know, i gotsta find some, umm, colleagues (?).. identify yourselves! im lonely ubbcrying beerchug

Well people, not like yuo care, but I'ma not gonna make it Saturday, at Delft. I would, but I''m a little ill, and I guess I just gotta rest. And since I can''t do so at work, I''m just gonna take the weekend off. But you have fun guys! grouphug

Meh, the weather predictions are not great for the weekend.... frown But we shall see, and defy the weather gods!

Stickman, I'm not expert on music styles, so I'll just copy out what my brother texted me and hopefully it will mean something to you smile:

He can get tickets for 6 euros beforehand, I'm not sure what the full price is, so anyone who wants to come: let me know by tomorrow so I can arrange it with him. He has an early slot, from 10-12, so Tom & I will be there then, anyway. Oh, and for those who didn't know: you can spin fire at Mecca! And I bet you can't spin fire at the cyberparty in Amsterdam, so the Scheveningen do is waaaay cooler and everyone should come!!! biggrin

Anyone else coming to the Lepelenburg at 6 tomorrow?

as for myself, ill be at the lepelenburg tomorrow at 6.. and telp, that delft idea during the day sounds like a lot of fun.. i think ill join you on that one. any other takers? as for saturday night? im really not sure, but the beach sounds like a good plan.. it depends on the weather i guess

And oce again, I plee for the Vondel, I gotta tell you guys, with the weather, it''s goddamn paradise. Besides, they fixed the place at some places (the opposite of Het Blauwe Theehuis for example) it''s great!

I started out reading them and then realized... I didn't really want to. biggrin

So here's me just saying I'm down in Wijchen (near Nijmegen). But as I'm living with a hostfamily and I'm only seventeen, and everything's in Dutch and mine really sucks so far... I dunno if they'd let me wander around Utrecht alone (again).

Regardless, I'd love to come to a meet (never been to one, unfortunately) at some point this year! I miss being around spinners.

Plenty doable, I just have to get around the whole "not getting lost/robbed/nibbled on while travelling across the country" thing, plus convincing the hostparents (gastouders!) to let me go out and meet up with a group of psychotic, rabid-- er, fellow spinners-- all by my lonesome. biggrin

I love public transportation here, though. So much cooler than Canada's.

Speaking of next session soon, taking for granted that peeps are going all which ways this weekend, hows bout next weekend. Thomas seems hell bent on the vondelpark, so thats sounds like a good idea,
Sat 17th shall we make it definte? say around 5pm near the fish rabbit in the vondelpark? Of cousre theres also fuero do on the 18th in utrecht, but I dont mind doubling up next weekend. Who's for what?

By now i'm sure you have heard about a Very Big Meet idea. Well I'm one of the persons trying to get that to work. And I'd like some participation from you; the juggler and spinner that we want to invite to come and have a fun night.

Anyways, Nove, I suppose these guys are just concerned and not trying to keep ya down. I guess we'll have to arrange a meet nearby to get you involved. That way your people can meet us if they want. Well, petty you''re not allowed to come this weekend, but keep checking. I think we'll work something out.

As for the rest: I'm a little concerned, about the weather that is. I was supposed to rain more or less. Keep yourselfs updated on the weather!
