Hi everyone,

Ive done another vid. this one is a club swinging one, and contains some of the moves that I've talked about in the club swinging thread over the years. I tried to make it a demonstration of the versatility of the snake family of moves. I also edited out the drops this time cuz the orginal version had a few too many (and I know that ppl dont want to see me stuffing up wink)

Set to a nice and chilled tune 3.13 long I hope you enjoy.

Much thanks to Strugz for his hosting.

All constructive critisism / comments / questions welcome!

Under the Bridge 2 - Snakehandling

----------

Under the Bridge - My first doubles vid.

well - I've said in a few threads recently that Id make a vid to show some of the stuff i've been trying to explain, and here it is. No edits - just 4mins of me twirling little sticks. some of the new stuff i've been talking about isnt here, there will be another vid coming out when I've worked out what isnt in this one.

any and all constructive critisism is welcomed.

hope you enjoy;

good gravy. Your twirling is excellent. That is all :P.

Actually one thing, that bit just after you move into non-parallels. Do you use any fingerspins here? If you don't, thats awesome, if you do, it's still awesome =).

wow..very clean moves, the btl stuff was just eek, love the split time butterfly stuff, good to know that a 3bt split time is attainable. Couple of constructive things, perhaps more noticable because I'm learning more doubles at the moment. Your left hand seems to be your weak hand..only noticable a few times, just noticable because I notice it with my spinning, tho it's my right hand wink Also, just out of curiousity, do you play w (dunno staff terminology, sorry) bth throws? Just learned these recently,
just wondering how many other ppl play with them. Very very smottho tho, great work eh wink

This movie also makes me really want some short-short staffs smile. Mmmm 75cm w/ 2inch wicks, aluminium for lightness =). This is what you are using yes? I swear you can tell, but maybe I am wrong.

I want a video camera, I wanna play!

Very nice, Josh. Will definately learn lots from this vid. Been waiting for another good short doubles vid to pop up. Knox's vid is getting a bit worn out smile

Klaymen,

yes they are very light 75cm alu staffs w 2inch wick made by bluecat for Katinca. I use em now because they are easier to go BTL, but i'll probly go back to my sticks at 80cm with 4 inch wick soon.

Musashii,

I'll work on that left hand business. Its time it was told whose boss. By BTH I'm assuming you mean Behind the Head? I have, but I havent recently. dunno - perhaps thats one for the staff moves forum?

Ben,

Yeah - ronnie was the camera man this time - Auto focus didnt work very well. - next time it'll be with the tripod me thinks. double longs? yeah its coming along - my single contact has taken leaps and bounds since you left me with your sticks! smile

Thanks everyone for the positive input! smile
