Posted:Hello, hello and welcome to the thread for all Irish fire dancers, spinners, object manipulators, drummers, musicians and anyone else interested in these arts in Ireland.

This thread was started nearly a couple of years ago now... and it's since grown to include more people, gatherings, events, fun and games than we had thought possible.

And it's still growing - so if you're new to the arts, or want to meet up with any of us, please post at the end of this thread to introduce yourself... or send me a PM with your email address and I'll add your name to our mailing list.

There are spinners, dancers and manipulators all over the country, and you'll find lots of them on here... don't be shy, we're nice biggrin

So welcome, and hope to see you soon hug

Clare x

I only found out the accom I thought we had sorted in Tralee actually wasn't, last week... and have since organised meetings for the next few days.

I've been in Dublin for the last couple of days for work, and was planning on driving Lisa and Durbs and myself down today, but when the accom fell through, we changed our minds - none of us could afford it, unfortunately...

So now I'm back in Bangor... and the thought of driving for 8/9 hours (and about 60 petrol), then sleeping on the floor, or in my postman pat van, isn't great (I'm old and in pain smile ).

I'd love to go, I'd love to meet Marco and Jeremy and Sabine again - and all the irish jugglers and spinners - and I know the fire show and public show is going to be great...

I just can't this time. I'm sorry...

But have a splendid time... and please post pictures and stories when you get back smile

Welcome (Ronan's sister, for those who don't know already smile )

Are you heading to thailand?

Strugz... on Monday night you can come and laugh as Lisa and Durbs and the drummers rehearse our show at the big house. We might have a wee bit of a spin up there... I'll have to ask the lads.

Barry... glad you had a good time... any stories to tell?

Not sure about the Belfast convention... no doubt Colleen will be along. But if it happens, it probably won't be until February (like last year).

Phoenixonastick... not sure if I know you yet... maybe just don't recognise the online name... but are you off travelling somewhere?

If so, have a great time... and let us know how you're getting on.

Best wishes
Clare x
