Hello, hello and welcome to the thread for all Irish fire dancers, spinners, object manipulators, drummers, musicians and anyone else interested in these arts in Ireland.

This thread was started nearly a couple of years ago now... and it's since grown to include more people, gatherings, events, fun and games than we had thought possible.

And it's still growing - so if you're new to the arts, or want to meet up with any of us, please post at the end of this thread to introduce yourself... or send me a PM with your email address and I'll add your name to our mailing list.

There are spinners, dancers and manipulators all over the country, and you'll find lots of them on here... don't be shy, we're nice biggrin

So welcome, and hope to see you soon hug

Clare x

you go thru the main gaits, across the courtyard on the right, down the walkway and turn right to get to the cicket ground. the jugglers are usually on the far left infront of the pav.

Booo, I went to Trinity last night and there was no one there frown, it was raining though so wouldn't have been much fun anyway. At least I know where it is now. Does anyone know when the DIT meeting starts up again?

all the college meetings start back up in september, and run for the academic year. think dcu might have a few mid summer meetings.. but the main meetings in dublin are in Stephen's green, on saturdays at 3 near the band stand and then on tuesdays in the pav, asd you know. see you there on tuesday.

Hi guys,

A favour to ask towards the EJC from all you Dublin-based spinners and manipulators (of objects, not people.)

This evening we are doing a photocall for a newspaper, so we need as many people to go to Stephen's Green and juggle in the sunshine as possible (not too difficult really, is it?) If you could be there at or before 6.30 tonight - Thursday - because that's when the photographer is expected. Bring props, costumes if you have them/just happen to like them and chill out in the park.

See you there?
