you know what i dont know to be honest, most of the vods i do i cut into wmv...

i dop this cos it cuts the vid down in size, but....it wont work on non windows machines, unless you have the right codecs....so avis, mpeg ans a few other will work cross platform....

i used win movie maker 2 to edit + am trying to convert the already finished wmv's...

ok, diff aproach, could be to use a diff prog to throw together files, i use win movie maker 2, and its always good, but as for converting over mwv to mpeg, let me just ahve a rummage to see if i can find an easier way! ok

wmvs are convenient for the video producer's standpoint.
as a video aficionado (see also: neeeerd) i prefer divx cus it's not as lossy as WMV/RM when it has been exported properly, and is viewable on non pcs. X-Vid = brill quality, but is barely supported by alotta people.
using a pc-only standard is arguably defeating the purpose of maximally spreading the love of twirlage.

Do u mean WMV? cause Madmets has a mac and can still view all my wmv stuff. Maybee he has a special video softaware...ill ask him what he's using and post a link to a download.
