Here's a little vid I've put together of me this weekend.
I'm still pretty new to this Poi stuff, only been doing it a couple of months so not as fluid as a lot of you, but I'm happy with it.
Check it out Here

look spretty good to me for two months of learning! beerchug

You could do with a bit more light to see you, there's one section when you're lit up (night vision setting?) and thats probably the nicest section of the vid clap

Keep it up biggrin

Let's relight this forum ubblove

2months eek

You is one of those quick learners arnt you wink

Mind you saying that i seem to tell everyone that these days - maybe its coz i was just too slow ubblol

Nice little vid mind - although i would mirror comments on the darkness ubbrollsmile one thing i wouldnt mind knowing is when the trails start to blur more - is that due to a differant shutter speed or is it some snazy little multi glo device to got there?

Good work beerchug

The vid was filmed using a slow shutter speed to give the trails, but not that slow otherwise the vid comes out very jumpy.
When the number of trails increase, I used the 'Echo' effect in Premiere, with to the number of echos set to about 15.
To increase the size of the trail itself I used the 'posterize time' effect, set to about 5. This does almost the same thing as using a very slow shutter speed.
It works alot better without the person in view other wise the person is echoed as well, and the image gets very blury.

weavesmiley verry verry nice man, and props to your camera man!

You can't avoid pain by fencing yourself from it.
Some times you need the help of others more than anything else
But you have to let them close enough to help......
People want to be needed, I found that out too
