Two white trash bags with soda bottles half full of water in them. Was at a friend's party one night and had nothing to spin so I made them up. It was actually rather cool because the trash bags were shaped in just a way that they looked somewhat like flags and made a nice plastic bag sound while spinning through the air.

These two funny squidgy balls. They're those water filled rubberised squishy balls that stick to things when you throw them. They stretch like a b*tch so I pinched the seams and spun them. they kinda stretched out to look like sock poi hehe...cept I had to stop cause I thought they would burst ubblol

We had Radical Cheerleaders, people doing acro., jugglers who stuffed ham sandwiches into empty juice boxes to make juggling ballsjuggle, and I made a set of poi out of the plastic bags used to wrap the sandwiches, tied together, with juice boxes at the end. weavesmiley

I've done the socks with no balls on it... I've also done chains with no heads (theres a reason I've got two wallet chains.)

I think the worst was a simple string tied around a nut and bolt... Damn those things hurt when they smack you.

Shopping bags full of food works well...and gets you some nice stares biggrin

I managed to get 2 chokers for dogs (big dogs) and attached glowsticks to them. That made for some nice spinning...and lots of cuts and bruises lol.

I tried to do a 3 beat with school bags, but it didn't work out to well ^.^'

I've always found shoe poi to be very awkward ^.^' but that's just me.

Anything is spinable wink You just have to be creative enough. I remember pictures of Beanie poi (beanie babies tied onto strings) not to long ago.
