Anyone up for a mellow sunday afternoon in the lush green fields of Guildford's Shalford park? meditate

The Ambient Green Picnic is pretty self explanatory but to give you an idea it's pretty much like transporting the Green Fields of Glastonbury to Surrey for a day! There's usually lots of people spinning, twirling + juggling and i'm sure the various members of Burnt Toast will be loitering around if not actually performing. Check out the website for more details + a link to last years photos etc...

There was going to be an Ambient Picnic after party in Pews... but it's cancelled... anybody feel like planning a makeshift after party by the river?

This sounds great, would love to get outta London for the day! I have no idea how to get there of course, anybody driving from London and want some company? And some petrol money?

Sometimes I shouldn't say words...

Morning all *yawn*

That was fun smile
Fluffy as always and sunny too - hooray for the Ambient Picnic.

Sorry for anyone who was waiting at the river - it was a fookin' mission to get my car back (45 minute wait for a bus which never came, got in a taxi which went the wrong way, went to petrol station which was actually closed so they had to open it all up for us as they'd left the lights on...)
Was fun when we got there though biggrin

I missed many people, but had lots of fun all the same. Long after it ended, me, sheep, polyetheline and others were still sipping tea and eating cake outside the Purple Penguin tent. You can't beat sitting in a field watching the sun set and stars come out, especially when you have tea smile

It was my 6th picnic and although it's changed a lot over the years it's still retained the nice relaxed/chilled out happy vibe which isn't experienced often in Surrey. There's a few pictures of the event up here.

Note, Alice, there are more pictures of you than of people that just let him take them. Resistance is futile, an' all that smile
